      Problems leaving house?

It's not that all my LDs have been in my house but I find that when it begins in my house (usually WILD) I can't either not leave or if I try I wake up. It's quite annoying and I was wondering if you have any tips.

Last night during a WILD I had to break my window. However, as soon as I did I could feel myself waking up and, most bizarrely, feel my body in my bed as I was in the last few seconds of the LD.

      Any help?

      Thank you

This is a tip that was given to me when I found I couldn't get out of bed when I became lucid from FAs: use mind control.

It may sound kinda complicated, IDK, but imagine being outside. Pick a place outside that you would like to be and mentally put yourself there. IDK, if this is a good tip or not, but it has worked for me when I've found that I was trapped in my bed. Have the willpower to motivate yourself to go to where you want to be.

Teleport. Spin/jump/close eyes/etc. while thinking clearly of a different place. It doesn't have to be far away...could be the front lawn. You may have a sort of mental prison thing going...IDK, maybe you expect to wake up when you leave your house, and so you do. Once you bust out a few times, though, it may go away...IDK. Best solution I can come up with.

Maybe next time it happens you should ask yourself why it is happening, i imagine it would bring you to the realisation that nothing is stopping you leaving except you.

I've had a lot of FAs and always found I couldn't leave the room. On my first deliberate LD, a solution occured without me trying; I wonder if it will work for others?

I simply went through walls backwards. This kinda makes sense: if you're going forwards you are too worried about your face - your eyes being damaged, your nose and mouth being covered and smothering you.

Let me know if you try it.

I have a "glassdoor" so I always just push myself through the glass, strange but I have always been able to do that, but when I try to open up doors by the handle, it doesn't work

Hey I had that same problem!! i lucid dream just like you i think... like when i realize i'm dreaming i find myself in my room... then i try to go out the window... like thru the window and crash against it!! what i did was think: 'i know i can go thru windows and doors and anything when i'm in this state'... so i tried again slowly, hands first and went out the window, i felt myself trespassing the glass, and puff i was out...

in that moment just remember you are capable of doing anything in that state and try again... expect it Will happen and so it does...
