how to use telekinesis when you have trouble lifting things.

I have only had a handfull of lucid dreams and in my first two I tried to lift objects with my mind simply by willing it to happen. this did not work and I could not move anything with my mind. upon my next lucid dream I could use telekinesis for a short time and then I could not lift anything. I don't know why I had the idea to try this but I closed my eyes removing the visual dream. I then focused only on the sensation of lifting the object. I opened my eyes and It was floating in the air. I had another lucid dream shortly after that and I repeated the act of closing my eyes to lift and object and it worked again. I think that I was trying only to see the object float rather than focusing on the sensation of making it float when my efforts were fruitless.

This may or may not help with flying as well, I will have to wait until my next lucid dream to try it.

      I hope this helps someone!

I find that this same technique helps with just about anything I'm having problems with inside my lucid.

If I want to visit a certain place, tried spinning and it didn't work, tried opening doors into it, didn't work...then I just stop...and let go and close my eyes. I take a deep breath and imagine the scenery forming around me...effortlessly. I'm not making it happen...it is just happening, because I want it to. When I open my eyes...there I am, exactly where I wanted to be.

If I am having trouble flying...and have tried growing wings, etc. and that has failed...then I pause, take a deep breath, close my eyes...and suddenly I am able to fly. And with complete control.

I don't think this technique has ever failed me inside a lucid dream.

You can try to fight the mind...you can try to trick it...but I've found that it's best to work with it.
