An unknown presence restricting me during dreams, and objectives to complete in the dream.

Recently i've been having some dreams which either required me to complete taskes within the dream which has nothing to do with my everyday life such as reaching certain checkpoints for no real reason then me briefly waking up to realize how strange this is, then drifting back asleep to more the less the same thing. Then after a while i become lucid and try to influence the dream but it feels really wrong and i panic for seemingly ages while trying to wake myself. It feels wrong because of the content of the dream, as i am usually quite calm when lucid but as i try and control anything recently, i feel that i am being dragged away from things and places i want to be, then i give up and want to just wake up, but even then something tries to stop me. The dream i had which i remember best in this situation is when i tried to hold my nose together to check if i can still breathe, but as soon as i reached for my noses, another "thing" was gripping my body and also gripping my hands which prevented me from checking if this was a dream. Was hoping someone could offer help on how to overcome these issues.

There are a lot of obstacles that I've run into while dreaming that sounds somewhat similar. I used to go lucid and get stuck in a place, I would feel unable to move my body. For many dreams I tried to no avail to move my legs. Another problem I'd encounter was I'd be attacked and would be unable to raise my fist.

Instead of figuring out how to move my body, I started to concentrate on my surroundings. Instead of walking I'd try drifting, or floating. Instead of trying to fight back I'd focus on changing the scenario completely. Spinning has been very effective for me in the past. Also, don't expect these things to happen. If you expect that they'll continue then they will. KNOW and fully KNOW that it's not going to happen. Don't think, it might not. Think it won't and it probably won't. Put your intentions into the things you want. Hope some of this helped.

I had these problems too. I have taken a break from this LD stuff because i am to distracted with school to really focus on this hobby.
