Thread: Ghost attacking me?

Just last night I had a nightmare. This is going to be difficult to explain so please bare with me.
I went to a house that was known to be haunted with a group of people. This house was very old and no one had lived in it for years. The last person who lived there had just up and left leaving everything there. I went with a girl from the group up to one of the rooms and we were doing some EVPs and just talking. We decided we would stay the night in this room. I remember there being one of those jewelry boxes that stand about up to your waist. Well it was next to my side of the bed. Along with the closet door. The door to the jewelry box kept opening up all on its own. I would get up and close it just for it to open right back up when I turned away. Next thing I know the closet door began to open. I jumped up to close it and I had a struggle with whatever was on the other side trying to close it. As I pushed it shut it would fight against me opening it. As I was dreaming this part I felt like I was actually shoving the door shut. It felt so real! Anyways, so I would finally get it shut and jump back in the bed. This happened over n over again. I eventually stood up and started screaming at the top of my lungs telling it to stop we didn’t want any problems. This part of the dream also felt very real. Also at this time I remember my son waking up and I was trying to wake up also but for some reason I could not wake out of the dream/nightmare. I was trying to force myself up and I just kept getting sucked back into this. Ok back the nightmare again, so after the fighting with this ghost/spirit it flew out of the closet straight at me. I remember the face of it. It was a female with BLACK BLACK eyes and a white face. As she flew out at me I looked into the closet and there was a small hole in the back left corner where she came from. I remember thinking that she had this entire house set up to where she could travel from room to room threw this hole. Well from here it gets kinda fuzzy but there was a little girl who showed up in our room (a human girl) and the ghost tried to drag this little girl into the hole but I attacked the ghost and got the girl out of there. That really is the last thing I remember. This nightmare was so vivid. Can someone please help me understand what this suppose to mean. Sorry for confusing anyone with my explanation.

Your description was excellent. You were in a place you should have not been in. The house was known to be "haunted". When we go to places (literal and symbolic) that are known to be spiritualy wrong we open the door ourselves to spiritual danger and confrontation. The little girl was your youthful inner child that gave the ghost the power to attack, as fear grants power to the evil entity. Your adult self was much more brave and successfully defended the child and defeated the fear. The message is don't spiritualy go where you should not go. Stay on a holy trail, even if you have to leave the "group" to do it.
