      Dream journal language

I think it is important to chart the small incidents as well as the obvious ones in your dreams.

After attemting to interperet some of my dreams I have noticed that many connnections can be made with the subtleties of my dreams when compared to the major factors of my dreams.
IN order to cut down on the time it takes to write down a dream opon awakening and to still record all the fine details I made up my own language, like short hand.

I thought maybe this could help some others out if you do not already have some form of it.
I'll give you a short example.

The things in my dreams that are prevelant I give symbols or letters.
My house is in almost all my dreams. House simply = H. It could not be interpereted any other way because I would use H for nothing else.
A dream character. Aquanina = A fish. (one of those you draw in one motion.)
      Flying is a usual accurance = F

I think you get the point.
*This allows me to spend more time writing down specifics that I would likely forget otherwise.

Makes alot of sense. That way you can spend more time on all the specific details of everything that happened without wasting time writing out other stuff. When I am writing down my dreams I always tend to be thinking like ten sentences ahead of myself anyway so this seems like a good solution for writing in your dream journal. I use words and images since I like to draw and it seems to work for me.

      Thanks!!
The thing is you do not have to be an artist either. What ever the image is to the person making it is what counts.
Also You could potentialally get back to sleep again sooner without as much trouble.
***Aspecially when your having one of those nights that are one dream after another. You can get right back into it.
