      Dream involving ex-boyfriend?

(I'm not sure if this matters, but in real life, my boyfriend and I broke up about a month and a half ago, and we haven't spoken since. Also, the other girl that I refer to in the dream is someone who had a crush on him while we were dating).

I had this dream last night. It took place at my ex-boyfriend's house, in what appeared to be his bedroom. He was walking around the room and seemed to be looking for something. I think I was standing up.
"Are you going out with that girl you told me about?" I asked him.
He said yes, and told me that her name is Danielle. I then made a comment about how he "dropped off the face of the earth" after we broke up. He didn't respond.

I know it's not very specific, but the details are a bit fuzzy. This dream has been bothering me since I woke up. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could mean?

Dreams are meaningless they're just a recreation of the real world. So don't worry it's nothing...

Why do people come to a dream interpretation forum when they don't want to do or know dream interpretation?

Anyway, it sounds to me like the critical feeling in this dream was you wanting to find security. This took you to a scenario involving a situation where what might have been a secure relationship turns out to be anything but. The roles of the dream characters is fantasy - they're your (re)creations not the real people. The "looking for something" sounds to me like a projection of how you're feeling too.

Putting it all together, although you've broken with him, it sounds to me like you're looking for a secure relationship but all you find is other people having relationships with each other. A Freudian might add that this could all be linked to your parents and your relationship with your father (without knowing your family circumstances).
