Dream involving ex-boyfriend?

(I'm not sure if this matters, but in real life, my boyfriend and I broke up about a month and a half ago, and we haven't spoken since. Also, the other girl that I refer to in the dream is someone who had a crush on him while we were dating). I had this dream last night. It took place at my ex-boyfriend's house, in what appeared to be his bedroom. He was walking around the room and seemed to be looking for something. I think I was standing up. "Are you going out with that girl you told me about?" I asked him. He said yes, and told me that her name is Danielle. I then made a comment about how he "dropped off the face of the earth" after we broke up. He didn't respond. I know it's not very specific, but the details are a bit fuzzy. This dream has been bothering me since I woke up. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could mean?

Putting it all together, although you've broken with him, it sounds to me like you're looking for a secure relationship but all you find is other people having relationships with each other. A Freudian might add that this could all be linked to your parents and your relationship with your father (without knowing your family circumstances).
