      Strange dream involving teeth

I woke up out of my bed and my teeth and gums fall out in chunks uncontrollably. I do brush and occasionally floss. This dream has occured more than once. During this period of tooth loss I was terrified. Chunks of my mouth was falling out, not just the teeth, and I was bleeding out of my mouth. I was in my bedroom, alone ( I have a husband), when this happened.

I am forty years old and I do not enjoy growing up. I am also afraid of dentists.

That's a very common dream, although not usually to your extent. Tooth & gum ache are one possiblity, but mainly this is probably about the fear of loosing your credibility and ability that is scaring you.

I actually had the same dream, probably different setting, but with the gums and teeth dropping out in clumps ("painlessly").

I've heard dozens of people on this forum talk about their teeth being knocked out. I myself have had my teeth knocked out, albeit it was from a space shuttle crash...
I wouldn't concern yourself too much over it, as it might just be the common fear of losing one's teeth!!!

I've had two dream like this. In the first one, my teeth were falling out after I wrecked my car, and I was horrified. It was painless though. Second dream, my dream angel was there, and my teeth started falling out and I was pushing my fingers up through my gums and my gums had no form, just pure mush, and I was just beyond horrified. Next thing you know I start feeling where "new" teeth have started to come in, and woke up with a smile.

Try checking dreamemporium.com for this one.
According to numerous resources, it is either stress-related
OR you are having trouble getting your voice heard
OR you are talking too much! You regret what you are saying
and are trying to put the words back where they belong.

      Hope this helps.
