I don't quite know when this happened, or where my dream started, just later in it.
I'm at school, and the bell rings to lunch. I walk down two stairs, and head to the computer lab that I usually go to. Remembering it is closed on Fridays, I decide to go to the library instead. As I pass by the lab, I notice it is unlocked, however, so I enter. But instead of a small room with 30 computers, it is an opulent-looking lecture hall (black seats, red floor, can't remember wall color, never looked at ceiling). At the center, an old teacher appearing to be teaching a statistics class (I decided statistics was one of the classes I never wanted to take, even though I enjoy math). Because there were many people there who weren't in the class, she yelled at us to get out. So I left.
Then, I walk through the hallway and as I head towards the cafeteria (or towards the library, same path), I notice some sort of shop (think: CVS) where the vending machines were supposed to be (though I don't think it struck me in the dream that's where the vending machines were). I see bags of flour for USD$10, and something else (don't remember) for USD$2. I realize they are the two ingredients needed for making glue (no, they really weren't, but it was a dream). Then, I go further in and see elmers glue bottles for USD$26. I stare at the price tag for a while. Someone notices and asks "Can I help you?" (paraphrase) I reply "I'm looking for some art supplies" (paraphrase). She motions that I follow, so I follow and the shop extends into a large warehouse that looking back, was the height of a large supermarket (think: Costco).
I lose track of my guide, and walk further in. I see more people who appear to work here. I ask one if he knows of any guides to drawing. He replies something about his grandfather being a great painter, and I ask about drawing cartoonish figures. He describes his family tree and the different art professions of everyone (can't remember much about it), and eventually gets to himself being a graphic artist. I ask to see some of his works, and he points down an isle and says its a ways thatway. A shelf is obscuring my view of the isle, so I step aside and look down it.
It is an endless stretch between two shelves, and I, being afraid of any large space (heights, long distances, exceedingly high ceilings) , shudder and quickly look away to my right. There is a large tall glass window or doorway that touches the ground (I assume its an exit), but it was far away. My mind jumps to thinking about something else (I don't remember what, probably relating to how did I get here from school?) and I tune out my surroundings. A gew seconds or a minute later, I snap out when I hear the words "You have been slain." Color fades into grayscale, and I get a vision of myself, surrounded by five small orbs. A closer look reveals that the five orbs contain small animals. I'm holding one in my hands (don't remember what animal, I think it was a turtle). I wake up.
Notes:
Three examples of a small place becoming a large place (computer lab into large lecture hall, vending machine wall indent to giant warehouse, giant warehouse into endless isle)
The end is likely unimportant, as it just shows I've been playing league of legends too much. (Grayscale when a character dies, "You have been slain"). Not quite sure why it ends in death though. Plus I could clearly see myself alive holding one of the orbs.
Afterthought:
I immediately went to my tarot deck for answers this morning and the card I pulled was the reversed death, symbolizing major changes that I'm not quite prepared for (makes sense, first note).
Reversed 9 of swords was next, recent events have caused despair. Since the grading period ended 3 days ago, and mine were not stellar...
Reversed 3 of wands symbolize misunderstandings and communication problems. Not quite sure how this relates to me, however.

Could that dream have implied there is a coming change I'm unprepared for? It's a bit long, I know, but I included pretty much everything. Its been months since I've had a dream that I could remember this vividly.
Edit: Could be important: From the start of the opulent lecture hall and the small shop, a friend I've known for 8 years (since 3rd grade) was accompanying me.
