      Dreaming of crooked teeth?

I wish I remembered more about this dream, but all I have are a couple of simple symbols to work with that I remember from last night. I remember so many of my dreams when I'm sleeping with a migraine headache for some reason so it's hard to remember one over another.

Anyway, last night I had a particularly disturbing dream centered around my teeth. I was for some reason living in an old run-down house with dark wood everywhere and antique looking fixtures. I went into the bathroom after getting out of bed, looked into a stained cloudy mirror and saw that all of my teeth were crooked... there were even extras growing in my bottom row. What was really odd was that some of the new teeth that were growing in the front of my mouth were molars! It felt so real... I could actually feel the pain when I tried to move them.

      Any thoughts regarding symbolism?

[some info on my life right now: I'm currently transferring from music to art school and very nervous about it as it's a huge career track change. Had an existential crisis back in the Fall and decided to take the leap. I'm going to New York again tomorrow for an accepted students day and I'm also going to look at apartments. Another thing I'm there for is to meet my mother whom I don't enjoy but need to maintain a relationship with for other benefits... I feel guilty about this constantly. In addition to all of this I haven't told a lot of people at music school that I'm transferring and I don't know how to break the news... so this is also rotting in the back of my head. Also, my dad is getting remarried in a few weeks after being divorced from my mom for a year and recently brought up that his new wife would technically be my stepmom, which makes me feel very uncomfortable even though I like her. Sorry for the stream-of-consciousness style gibberish haha. That's basically what's happening.]

      Thanks!

Apparently dreams about teeth are rarely positive, and the atmosphere of this dream definitely gives off a negative vibe. A stained mirror, run down house, creepy extra teeth?
According to a book I have on dream symbolism, dreams about crooked teeth indicate that you're feeling like you're a failure, that you can't carry out your dreams and that you may be depressed or in poor health.

Are you stressed out lately? Or are you having trouble doing the things you want to do? Your dream could be a manifestation of your frustration. The fact that you had a migraine, though, may have influenced the creepy/foreboding nature of the dream.
