      Can anyone please explain this...

I dreamt that I was back in my Grandma's old house...I haven't been there for over two years. I was with some people the same age as me, however, they were not my friends, I did not seem to know them. I was standing by the back door, when there was a knock on it...and two men walked in with knives- one through the front door, one through the back...however, I was not suprised by this, I remained calm in the dream and pushed past the man nearest me (near the back door). I then ran outside and into the garage, which I could picture really clearly (the dream felt so real)...the man then knocked at this door, to which I opened it, pulled out a knife from my pocket, and stabbed him in the head, slowly...
Okay, the strange thing is, I have never had a dream quite so real as this, and I don't usually dream of such things...so I was wondering if anyone could help...
      Thanks.

When you say it's gonna happen "now",
Well, when exactly do you mean?
See I've already waited too long,
And all my hope is gone...

first off what is the significance of your grandma's house?? do you dream of it often?? or is this a one time dream of it?? if you go there often in dreams, you must be attached to it emotionaly, and this dream perhaps is symbolizing your emotions and perhaps that you are trying to get them across to someone, or several people, and you feel a bit threatened, this could even be that since you stabbed him in the head, it could represent you, and that you are making changes in your llife, and that old thoughts will replace new ones and when this happens, as we change internally, our dreams show us a lot of violence, because we are fighting our inner selves that we wish to get rid of(old thoughts, beleif patterns), I have found that when I am going through changes my dreams always result in violence and it is a way of growing internaly...
I would ask yourself, how you felt in this dream, or perhaps any feelings you had when you woke should show you the way of interpretation. The dream seems to be saying you are fighting internally with old self patterns, that we must release in order to grow..I would keep a dream jounal, and take notes of any dreams, and began to build a connection where the symbols stand out to you most, and than interpret from there, if your still confused, let time be the deciding factor.

      Wow, Loray,

You seem quite level headed and fearless. I take it that your Grandmother -- that side of the family -- is where you got your levelheaded fearlessness. Also, you won. You showed great skill. You know, I don't believe you stabbed your assailant slowly, but that it seemed slow because time slowed down for you. For all the greatest fighters, time slows down during stress to give you seemingly more time to deal with these crisis situations.

Hmmmm. Maybe you should consider a career in law enforcement or Intelligence Spy work.

Or perhaps it was all just a dream, and ordinarily you would wish things to be calm and peaceful. But still, its good to know this about yourself, that you are not the type that freezes up in a crisis.
