I've only posted here once before, and it was regarding my issues with becoming lucid, despite having been a very regular lucid dreamer. Well, last night, I finally had a short burst of lucidity, but I'm kind of uncomfortable with how this came about, and I'm wondering what you think it might mean. In the dream (before I became lucid), I saw what I recognized as my subconscious. It was in a corner and trapped inside some rubbery balloon-like cocoon. I was still asleep, so I don't remember my intentions, but I remember feeling furious. I picked up a brick and frantically beat the rubber cocoon until it turned to glass and shattered. At that moment, I became lucid for just a second, and then I woke up. This sounds stupid, but I'm not sure if my intentions while I was asleep were to free my subconscious from the cocoon, or to beat the @!%^ out of it. Either way, it was a jarring experience, and it's been on my mind, all day. What are your thoughts? Have you ever seen your subconscious in your dreams? Ever had a similar experience? |
