This is my first dream post and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about its meaning.

The dream:

I am standing in a vast beautiful prairie and the wind is blowing the grass like ocean waves. Before me stands a huge majestic male buffalo with its head turned to the wind.

Suddenly the buffalo bursts into flames. It does not move, or appear to feel any pain; it just stands engulfed in flames. The buffalo's figure starts to churn and change in the flames. Then, in the flames the figure of a large red and yellow bird begins to appear. It becomes obvious that it is a huge Phoenix. The bird begins to fly away slowly. The dream ends.
