Baby Dream

I had a VERY Lucid dream, I remember EVERYTHING including feelings!
My Dream was I was having a baby, and I remember THINKING to my self in the dream in my mind, "I wish my husband was here" After giving Birth to the baby, I remember looking down at the child, cradling her, thinking again to my self "I wish my husband was here to see her", I remember feeling the childs hair on my chest(Because in my dream, it was right after giving birth, so the child had been put on me" and I remember being so alone in this room, But the scary thing about this dream, is No one was around, Like I gave birth to the child and remember looking down from the bed, and no one was around but a nurse and my husband never made an appearance The only person who had ever been in the dream was the Nurse. I felt No pain in the dream,I just remember thinking IN my dream AND when I woke up, Where my husband was....Any Comments?

The baby in dreams generally represents a new idea or new project. It can also represent a new concept you have about someone or the idea of an actual baby if you have been thinking of having one. A girl baby would indicate an idea, project etc. that was very emotionally conceived rather than logical.

The nurse would represent an emotional aspect of yourself, one which allows you to feel that you are looking after yourself where this new idea is involved. Your husband represents your mind and suggests reasonable, logical thinking. What you can sense is very missing in a situation in which you have to work to bring a new idea into reality – to make it a physical reality – is your husband, that is, where a new idea is concerned, the involvement of your own logical thinking is completely lacking.

It is possible that the dream is also commenting on today’s practice of having a husband present in the delivery room. Notice how you wrote “I remember THINKING to myself”. While you may “think” your husband should be with you at such a time, the True Self does not actually SEE him there, that is, the True Self may not really believe that this is where he should be. The delivery room is no place for a man.
