Lucid Dreaming to Interpret Dreams

I was just wondering if anyone tried to discover the meaning of a dream by lucid dreaming, like asking the DG what was the meaning of a dream.

This technique is described by some dream readers, but it has limitations. Most characters in a dream are of the "ordinary" aspect type, meaning they represent sides of yourself. They are usually restricted to information pertaining to their immediate actions or feeling in a dream. However, even this can be useful. For greater perspective, you must find a "guide," although they don't always appear. These are authority or religious figures usually. If you see the president of the US or Jesus, for example, you can ask him just about anything, and he'll know the answer. Good luck!
