Thread: So I had this dream.

I'm sorry if I appear amateur about dreams; I really don't know much, which is why I signed up so I can discuss things regarding my dreams.
Moving on to the actual dream...
I had this dream a week ago involving myself and an acquaintance of mine. We were both standing outside of my chemistry classroom, waiting for our teacher to arrive to let us in, just talking. But that's not what was weird.
What was weird is that everything that he said fit his personality in reality. This may seem totally not even connected to mutual dreaming, but with every dream I have, the person I dream about is usually never what they're truly like. Either they're too nice or too angry or just... different in general. My unconscious mind typically shapes people into what I would prefer them to be like. But it didn't happen with him. And no, I don't know him very well. I can hardly even call him a friend. But what he said in the dream would be what I would expect of him to actually say. Which, like I said, is very weird to me. That doesn't even happen with my own family when I dream about them.
This has been nagging me ever since I started really thinking about that dream. So, is this just something normal? Or is it possible that we somehow had a shared/mutual dream? Most of the reports claim that they're usually pre-meditated and I've read nothing about ones that are merely accidental or a coincidence, so I'm not sure.
