Grandma possessed in my dream!

Ok well last night I had a very disturbing dream and am really wondering what it could mean. It started out as my whole family just hanging out at my grandma's house. She asks me to go outside to the backyard with her. I felt a little uneasy about this because she doesn't go outside much anymore and I actually felt a little scared to go. I ended up going to the backyard with her and she became a whole new person. A scary person. She started running and screaming (angrily) and then she jumped on my back and started molesting me! At this point I was completely freaking out and I got my mom's attention through the window, she came out to help me and had to rip my grandma off of me and was saying how she was possessed and we needed to leave. I woke up shaking I was so scared. In real life, I rarely see my grandma but she has rather mean in her old age. I always felt close to her even though I never see her and now she has alzheimer's and she just doesn't seem to like me at all. She is very weak and usually stays at home all day. Recently, I just had a miscarriage. I'm doing fine emotionally. I don't know if this could have something to do with it as it was a kind of traumatic and painful experience. I feel like I have moved on from it though.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that your grandma is trying to express to you (to anyone who will take the time to listen) how she feels about losing her mind with Alzheimers. The symbolism behind her attacking you and molesting you might be that Alzheimers feels like - to her - like a form of "rape". Think about it, to have every memory, every talent, all your abilities to walk and feed yourself and one day even breathe, every thing that makes you you, gets stolen from you by a degenerative brain disease. She has every right to be angry about it.

I agree with blackbirdrising except that its about your view, not hers. How you feel about it. Every dream is about the dreamer. The backyard may be what is hidden or private about her. You didn't want to go there. She is very different now and of course it freaks you out. More than angry, she is possessed by madness. You thought of you mom to help it or else she she personally helped you. I wonder if your miscarriage, asd you mention it, is a bizarre effect of this real nightmare. You do not want to propogate that end.
