In prison but had a large cell that had large comfy bed, etc
well I was in Prison for some reason and my cell was like 3 cells put together and one area of it was a small bathroom and the rest was my bed and a small desk with books etc etc. it wasn't a prison dream where i felt trapped.

Sounds like my worst nightmare, prison is one of my greatest fears.

Perhaps you feel that you are trapped in life, and that you are dominated by other people... however, you feel perfectly fine and comfortable with this, as gifts and luxuries are brought to you, so you don't really feel trapped.
Lol that may not be accurate (hopefully it isn't) but it's just a possible interpretation!

Your prison cell sounds exactly the same as my flat, but more luxurious i'm sure.
Perhaps the dream is expressing your desire to lock yourself away and get down to some serious writting?

My dream mind recently told me that in my previous online forum experience censorship and self-censorship had locked me in a bird cage. So it could be something like that for you as well, something has got you trapped in a luxurious prison cell: could be self-censorship, could be a trapping relationship, could be a job with no potential for growth, could be a restrictive schedule, ... What in your life or in your mind has got you trapped?
