My first dream in a long time.

Hi everyone. Maybe I should begin with a short introduction of my self. I'm a 26 year old male, from Norway. I enjoy playing guitar, TaeKwon-Do (martial art), ice hockey, and meditation. I have noticed that after I bought, and for some time now, have used an audio book called "Deep Meditation - Pathway to Personal Freedom" I have begun to remember my dreams more and more, and more. It's almost like I dream during meditation also, so I progress pretty good on my meditation path it seems. 2012 was a special year for me, I finally moved out and got my own place. A lot of negative stuff happen though, it was not supposed to be like this for me now but, I fell in love with my neighbor, When we first met I felt her energy and our chemistry was insane spot on, perfect. When I told her how I felt she ran to the hills, because she has been in a lot of bad relationships and she got scared. Now still in 2013 I have strong intense feelings for her, one year after, she don't. When she begun hanging out with a friend of my right next door I almost lost my mind, I threaten him, I hate his face now. My heart still bleeds... I try to move on, day by day I fight this. But other positive things have been, the apartment itself, finally I live on my own. I've gotten a new job I like, and my Dojang (tkd practice area) is just 100 meters away from me. It's like it's faith. I love TKD. It has done more good for me in 1 1/2 year now than 8 years of therapy (!). I think it was two days ago, I had a dream I remember very well. And it has been years since I remembered a dream this good. A little preface, when I lived at home we had problems with silverfish insects. I remember from a very young age I hated those small creepy insects. I get chills even when I think about them. I often had my heels up when I was on the toilet and I saw one around my feet. Now, in my dream I saw a whole bunch of them in my desk drawer, all over. I am on a few types of medication for anxiety and depression, they where in that particular drawer where I keep my medication those insects, no medication was there though in my dream. I remember yelling out in English, I don't know why in English but I yelled "We've gotta freeze them, We've gotta freeze them!!" There was a lot of saw dust in the drawer, and a lot of mess around. Papers I think, I find that weird because I am such a neat freak. They didn't bother me at all this time those small insects. I don't remember who I was yelling too, I can't recall having anyone behind me to help me either. I guess that was it. I used to do a lot of dream recording some time ago, and I thought I'd give it another try now. To write down my dreams, maybe get some help on their meaning. Sorry about my English and any grammar errors. If any questions please ask me, and many many thanks for any help! What do you guys make out of my dream? Is there any significant meaning? I think insects represents something? I'm not that much into astrology, but I'm a Libra and that girl is a Sagittarius (Which are maybe the most perfect match), in the Chinese zodiac I'm born under the sign of The Tiger, she is in the sign of The Horse, which is the tigers best match and vice-versa, (along with The Dog) Thought I'd just throw that in there :-)

Just a quick input: I had a dream tonight about exercising, I was showing off in the mirror after and apparent exercise (that I did not do). But I must have been doing exercise and then showing off in the mirror to see results. From what little google I can do I understand that I might need to exercise my rights more. I have this one or two neighbors who makes me feel almost guilty every time I play the guitar, or exercise at home. If it bothers them, tough luck I say to myself. I have a right to express my self, maybe this stresses me and manifests in my dreams?

Haha, have some posts been deleted or are you just having a mini conversation with yourself? I don't know much about dream and meanings, maybe the insects are lots of little tiny problems in your life that you haven't noticed yet? I had a dream recently, where I made out with one of my friends, who is dead I don't know if there's any meaning behind it; he was just pretty cute. Anyways, welcome to the forum! Lula x

Maybe with the bugs, you say in your dream it was as if you were screaming to yourself, and maybe you expect a lot out of yourself. The bugs being a fear from childhood and the idea that you need to freeze them, you feel as if you need to freeze or stop these expectations or these hindrances to what you feel as the real you. Or maybe even you need to freeze these fears from hindiring your pursuits, guitar that your neighbor tells you to stop. You are from Norway and its pretty cold there, maybe the freeze word/idea came from the weather influencing your dreams. But freeze can mean stopping something, stopping the fear of your neighbors criticism. Also maybe the insects represent the fear of your friend stealing your love interest. Or maybe even you need to freeze your desire for her if it really seems as though it's not working out
