Need others to give opinions on a weird dream.

Im new to this website but not new to the dream-field. That being said I am also not a dream guru by any means, but i know more than the average person. I am also not a person to be scared or let things bother me, but this dream left me really confused and kind of distraught. I will cut to the chase.

The dream starts out with a meeting with a young woman(age 19-20). This is a person i am familiar with, I see her around 2 times a week with other friends we all hang out for an hour or so more. Obviously, anyone reading will know that i am about to say i do have feelings for this person but being insecure as i am have not expressed those certain feelings(though i have beat around the bush and said i have in pre-text). Back to the dream, I accompany her to her home on the grounds that her father(her real father is gone in real life)needs me to help him put away a wave runner(I don't know if this is what it is called in real life, but a thing you drive in water for fun). I get there and I start talking to both of them(none of the context i can remember) but one thing that stood out A LOT! Was there were Mice and Rats everywhere, dead and alive, some caught in mousetraps. Most were alive. After, I noticed this i was informed that there would be a party and the girl asked me to stay. The "Father" was Cooking on a grill inside of the house(this was queer). Soon, it seemed immediately that the house was filled with people. They were doing drugs and alcohol(being a military member i was very uncomfortable, i refrain from these activities but i don't care if others do them"to each his own" right?) the mice were still around and one kept following me and tripping me up as i looked for this girl as i couldn't locate her. Being ditched at a social gathering has happened to me before, i had a girl i care about before leave me to go and talk to other people. Eventually, i led myself to a room secluded from the rest. I opened the door and there were two twin beds white sheets, and under each of the covers was one boy and one girl, so one couple for each bed. Winner! You guessed it, they were shagging, Having intercourse. But, i could not see there faces so i couldn't tell who was under there. Seeing this sight made me uncomfortable. But i shut the door. And then i woke up to the assholes upstairs stomping around.

-In the dream it felt as though no one talked but we were talking somehow(without talking)
Any help or advice would be appreciated. Ask any questions that would help !!! ANY!!
      Thank you

Even though the dream was from your viewpoint, the father, who in life, is missing from the scene, comes through strong as an ox from beginning to end, almost like everything you saw was something that he was trying to convey, maybe to you, because you could sense it.

Any reference to water, is about love. You probably know that because you know about dreams. The water wasn't IN the dream, but the wave runner (thing you ride on the water) is still a water reference. Since the water was not seen in the dream, and you were helping this girls father put that away, makes me think that her dad feels like its necessary for you to distance yourself from his daughter. (These vibes you're picking up may be why you haven't approached this woman in real life yet, and thats OK). The mice. Some were trapped, some were dead, some were alive, but they were everywhere, you were tripping on them. This father wants to protect his daughter from what he feels he can't stop from happening, its overwhelming, and he wants to prevent his daughter from getting hurt by the people she welcomes into her life (not to say that would be you, but everyone else). He was BBQing in the house, he wanted to BE THERE, which he cant (whether he is dead or alive and simply far away, he is like you say, "gone").The drugs and the party, sounds like his fear of what his daughter might be doing, that he cant stop, that he cant protect her from. The two beds with white sheets, two is about relationships, white is purity, and thats out the window because everyone was having a great time doing things the missing dad is afraid his daughter is hurting herself with. "You" felt uncomfortable because you were seeing this through the dads eyes. At least thats my opinion. I think you channeled the missing dad. Call me crazy.

I can understand that. It is a good view point that i didn't see. It leaves me relieved to know that it might not have been the absolute nightmare i thought it to be. But, would you think this is a sign that maybe i am not a good person to be in a relationship with her. Or could it be something else..

Water is also about the subconscious and dreams, not only about love. Maybe on some level you were unconsciously aware that this may be a dream?

The rats, the father or father figure, the drugs, and the sex going on in that girl's house all that could also be potential obstacles to your relationship with her. Part of you wants to ask her out, but part of you is worried and comes up with ideas of what could go wrong in this or any relationship.

The rats by the way could be there as a symbolic carrier of disease: a reflection of your concerns over STDs perhaps. Or they could be there because they are dirty, and because any house with them would be perceived as not good enough: so maybe you are worried that she is not good enough for you, or that the relationship with her may not be good enough - not live up to your expectations.

The scene with you walking in on two couples having sex could be your worry that she is in one of these beds: maybe you are worried that she is already in another relationship?

Another idea: I just though that your tripping over the rat as you try to find your girl may be significant, and may confirm the suspicion that the rats represent a perceived obstacle to your being together.

Well the emotions i felt walking into that room were fear(of her being in one of the beds). She is single in real life but there is still fear of her finding another companion before i can make a move. The other emotion was sort of a apathetic acceptance, as if it was meant to happen then so be it. In real life i am very insecure although i do work out in the gym im enlisted in the military and i know lots of girls like me. But, i am still a hot fire ball of insecurity and i am filled with fear of denial or rejection.
