Can you help me interpret this dream I had please.

Basically, I was hanging out with a friend and if I remember correctly, he asked me to go get something from his car.

Strangely, his car was parked on the roof of a 10 story apartment! Anyway, I managed to get on the roof and get into his car to get what I needed to. The roof was on a bit of a slope.

When I got in the car, I noticed the car started to roll! So I acted calm and reached for the handbrake. Pulled it up as far as I could (almost ripped it out) but the car continued to roll! So next, I tried the gears. I slammed it into reverse, yet the car kept rolling :/

The car eventually got to the edge where it was about to fall from the building, with me in it. I was about to open the door and get out, but it would of been too late, and then I woke up.

Now I know in real life if this was to happen, I would of probably jumped out of the car and saved myself... but in this instance, I was more worried about saving the car!

I thought I was going to die... but I woke up thankfully.

What does this mean?

I am going through some problems with my girlfriend at the moment if that helps. I'm trying really hard to make it work with her but feel she does not put the effort in what so ever... so a bit heart broken.

Dreams of being in an out-of-control car generally mean your life is out of control. Different kinds of vehicles can have different meanings - for instance if your entire family is on a bus or airplane that's out of control it means the whole family is in trouble. Or if you're in the passenger seat and your dad is driving too fast it means he's screwing up both of your lives. So the fact that you were alone in the car probably says that, as you guessed, it relates to your relationship and that it's only you who is trying. It seems you're facing all the danger and will be hurt - not her. At least that seems very likely from what you've said.

Definitely am in a real tough situation with her emotionally, at least I know I'm suffering. She plays it so cool and worry free, which gets my blood boiling even more!

I think I've learnt from this dream not to care so much and go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens.
