A dream about unknown man I didn't like

I am new here but last nights dream has been bothering me. I was on a walking trail with tons of people like there was a 5k in the woods, maybe. I was with a guy that I have never met before but in the dream he knew me and we seemed to be together. After a minute of talking I change into a revealing nightgown and he thinks it looks "young" and likes it. we decide to go behind a rock n fool around. Nothing serious, though. Then I am suddenly in what feels like "our" house and my daughter (that I do have) is there getting ready for school. I don't see her face behind her book bag but her voice sounds like she is a teen now. The house is fuzzy and I'm just in one spot but it's more of feeling like it's ours and it's unlike anywhere I have really lived. It seems like a large fancy place where all things are provided. That's just the feeling I had. Here's the weird part. I had no connection to this guy in the dream. almost to the point of wanting to get away. He seemed nice but I didn't know him at all. almost like waking up from a coma and someone saying "I'm your husband". It was awkward and we didn't seem to click. I wasn't even sure if he was supposed to be a boyfriend. I was not sure if to kiss him or how to act because he might have been put there as a running coach or brother but he seemed comfortable and just hanging out. What I don't understand is dreams where people meet a unknown lover people are attracted to them. It was like a bad blind date. I feel like he represented something more than was a real person. Like part of me or a feeling about my currant boyfriend. This was my first dream ever with somebody I don't know. I have even had relatives and friends "fill in" in other dreams as cashiers or whatever background people. How was I in a dream and not understand what to do, say,how to act, or what the relationship with the person in it was. Also There is a walking trail nearby that I go to. I feel like I should go there and see what happens but I don't really want to find this person. Adding this: My son just woke up and said he had a dream he could pick candy, an animal for a pet, or another treat. He chose to go with me on a walking trail!?!? Eeeek, was that my son in 20 years?
