      Unknown Dream Sign

So I'm just starting to get into LDing again and bought some Calea herb and been making tea every night for about 5 days. I try to read some posts on here as well every night because I believe thinking about it as well as surrounding yourself with it will increase your chances of LDing.

Anyways, last night I'm in a dream and there is a person to my right who's face I sadly never saw. I ask him "Is this a dream?" and he sort of shrugs and I look at my 5-fingered hands and rub them together. I start questioning the world around me but then find myself asking two questions. Am I awake asking whether this is a dream like i would when doing a reality check or am I actually asleep realizing a dream?
I guess the point is to point out how weird it can get. Both of the questions seemed so valid and I felt as if either could be true. I don't see how some people don't find the dream world interesting. "It's like everybody wake-walks through the dream world and sleep-walks through the wake world."

      sleep waking society zombie syndrome

While lucid the actual scenery & imagery can be far more vivid and full than in normal awareness of everyday life. It is difficult to tell the dream experience is waking reality or not even for the veteran lucid dreamer.

Check out the tutorial on RCs here. I suggest practicing at least three of them. I especially like the nose-pinch RC. Then, next time you aren't sure it you are dreaming or not do at least 2 of them. That way you should know for sure!

      waking life reference.

I'm always fascinated with the dream world, I often find my self going into deep mental questions about reality and conciseness
