Thread: 3 series of a wild dream - involving pier and ocean

I've just woken up from a really wild dream and all these 3 dreams involved a pier in Hong Kong, which I think is rather significant.

These 3 dreams were all dreamt on the same day, however I woke up after the 2nd dream, shortly before going back to sleep ..and dreamt

The first series involved my ex-friend (now an aquantance from the lack of contact) drowning at a pier. Reluctantley, I did not jump to his rescue even though I knew I was able to help him, but I was worried about the water pollution (or something to that extent). Instead I shouted for help in which 3 men came to rescue him.

Nearby, there was a person by a manhole dressed up in a protective suit with a machine. I overheard someone saying that this person was cleaning the seafloor.

The second series involved me running around the pier. At the excat same bend, where my ex-friend fell, I slipped and fell into the ocean. This time, I swam and climed into a building which was part of the pier. Inside the building, I got lost, but eventually found a ship departing to a what I thought was towards a populated island here in Hong Kong.

When I reached to the island, I realized I was on a different island. I wandered around the island until I found a pier. At this pier I thought I would find a ship bringing me back to the original pier (The pier which my ex-friend nearly drowned). However, when I boarded the ship, I realized I was on a different ship I've originally taken to get to the island. I decided to ask the staff for the destination. At the same time, I searched my pockets for change, but came up with nothing. The ship according to the staff, was in fact was heading towards somewhere absurd like Russia, and as the ship began to depart, I was eventually thrown overboard. I swam back to the island.

I remember the ship as having rather lively colours, with bright pink and baby blue neons.

The third series happened at the same pier again, my mom and my relatives were taking a ship to cross the harboar, but she never informed me. and when I asked where she was going, she didn't reply - perhaps because it was too noisy. My sister was with me when my mother departed, and once she departed, my sister walked away quickly, I tried to catch up asking where my ma was going, but I never recieved a response. En route, I saw a couple of my old acquantances and friends from my old school. I greeted, but recieved mixed response (i.e. only some responded). -Jumping scenery- I am now in a building in which a prom for my old school was taking place (these students, however were 2 grades below)

Inside the place, I saw an aquantance (which was a girl) who usually would've greeted me and hugged me (in reality). However, this time she didn't, and instead gave me a blank stare (or even negative stare) when I was about to hug her. At the same time, I also bumped into an old classmate of mine, who was rather unpopular in school. A semi-circle began to form in which people were taking photos. However, I discovered that the people within the semi-circle were students 2 grades below us. I felt embarrased and tried to leave this semi-circle. When I attempted to leave the circle, one student said "Get out of our photo!".

So that is that, my weird dream. I've never felt rejected in my whole life and happening even in a dream (which seemingly tends to exaggerate everything by proportions) was rather disturbing.

I've studied theories of Freud before but never really looked in-depth into intrepretating dreams. So I am hoping one of the members could help me out because it is rather disturbing

PS - Old school because I've graduated from the school. I am about to move overseas away from my family for my university.
