Need help with this one

So I had a dream the other night about starting a new job at a car dealership as some sort of insurance sales person. I was going through training and couldn't accomplish some task so I went to find someone who could help me. I start walking down a sort of path with many many people walking past me and we are all bathed in a very peaceful light. I realize that this is the afterlife and I am seeing people that have passed on. All of a sudden I see my maternal grandmother and I get on my back and she is able to help me move forward in my training. The dream ended there without a specific outcome. Here is some pertinent information that hopefully ties some of this together. I did work as an insurance agent for about a year but am no longer in that line of work. I don't have a religious affiliation and waver back and forth between believing in an afterlife and the end of consciousness after death. Maybe the most important piece of information is that my grandmother is still alive. However, the morning I woke up from having this dream I received a text from my mother telling me that my grandmother had a stroke. She is still living at this point. Also, I am not particularly close with this grandmother so I find it odd that I would be seeking her assistance in a dream. I've tried to wrap my head around this a few different ways but can come to no conclusions. Any help would be appreciated.
