Thread: Calling Old Friend

Hi, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post here. I was hoping some people could help me figure out what my dream means.

First, a little background on the friend who was in my dream. I met this girl the first day 11th grade and we became instant friends. We had a deep connection and we understood each other really well. We had alot in common and I loved being around her. After a couple of months she had to move to a different state but we stayed in touch by texting, calling, emailing, ect. for about a year. Then I was going through a rough time and lost touch with her. After a few months I tried to text her again but she didn't seem very interested in talking to me at that point (although honestly I didn't try that hard to fix it, as I was still going though some difficult things and I wasn't at a stable point emotionally where I could try to convince her to talk to me. I took her initial reaction of ignoring me a little harsher than i probably should have, especially considering that I'm the one who lost touch with her in the first place. In other words I should have tried harder to show her I was sorry and still cared about her.)

Now it's been about a year and four months since the last time I tried to talk to her. A couple weeks ago I had a really vivid dream. At first I was in a blank space with nothing around and the space was a dark grey color. Then I pulled out a white cell phone (it was almost glowing) and I called her. I didn't actually say anything and I didn't hear anything either. Then a second later she appeared next to me on my right side. Then we held hands and as soon as we did I felt an overwhelming feeling of love and calmness. It felt like we were both radiating this love all around us. It was a really intense feeling. Then we started travelling together, more like teleporting to different places. First we were standing on a sidewalk by a street. There were planters in the street that had palm trees in them. There was a red van in the street and we were next to a black glass building. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be Florida since that's where she lives. I think we went to one or two more places but I can't remember any more of the dream now. Once the dream ended I woke up immediately and I still felt a really intense feeling of love, like it was just radiating out of my heart and all around me! And it felt like she was really with me. All the rest of that day I couldn't stop thinking about her. And everyday since then she's constantly been on my mind.

Is this dream trying to say that I need to contact her? I don't really have any way to contact her, the only way I can think to is to call the last place I knew she worked and ask if they have any contact info on her. What do you think?
