I agree with JoannaB's interpretation, but would like to point out a couple of things. I enjoy getting into the details of a dream, because I think it is interesting but also important for the understanding of it. The details that I observed here is in regards to food. Food is something we need and is a common symbol in dreams. Your mother wants to to get some food, that is, to integrate something important. The food in the store is (mainly) flour. Flour is a very basic type of nutriment and actually a very important for the history of human civilization, it has long been a basis for our culture. From flour you make bread, which is an important symbol in Christianity. Jesus makes bread out of nothing, we eat bread as a symbol to integrate Him in ourselves. So it is fitting that your mother who is Christian sort of points out to you that you should get something to eat, that is to integrate -- and there is flour, so what to eat is bread, so in a way she (or what she represents in the dream) "wants" you to integrate the spirit of Christianity. But the problem here is that to integrate this spirit you have to make bread, and you have to make it your own. In this store, you cannot simply buy bread and eat it, you have to put in some work yourself. So that is a good symbol for spiritual development, you cannot simply ask someone to make you grow, you have to work with it yourself. But perhaps since you are not interested in that as an atheist, you just pass it by and starts to feel a little off, and then you can buy meat instead.
Meat is another very basic food, so to speak, and perhaps one could associate it more with older and pagan religions, where meat often is eaten during religious festivals and sacrificed to the gods. One could speculate that when you go past the "newer" religion Christianity and deeper into the store, there is possibility to integrate a more primitive point of view. But once again, you cannot simply take this and eat it either, but you have to cook it yourself. And once again, you are not interested in this, and take... the noodles!
What are a plastic package of noodles then? Compared to flour, bread, meat, it is a package of almost nothing. It is fast food with very little nutriment. So in this store with good food to cook and eat, you chose the modern fast food, it's quick, you don't even really have to chew it, and when you've eaten it you have gained almost no nutriment. I believe that is a significant "problem" in the dream, because it is when you open the package of nothingness, the problems begin.
Then JoannaB describes very well what happens, with associations to Zelda and Adam, and so forth, but if it was my dream, I would also ask myself what the "noodles" are in my life, and if there is not perhaps something else to eat instead.
I'm not suggesting that you should do this or that, I'm not saying that the dream says so either, these are my own associations to this dreams, and the food theme in particular.
