New Sight

A few nights ago I had a weird dream that stuck out to me for some reason. Every once in a while I have a dream that sends me looking for answers, but eventually I just let it go. However, I can't do that for this dream. It may be best to begin by explaining a trait of mine. Since I was a young child I could see and sense things that others could not. It began with them coming into my room at night, they would stare at me for a few moments before leaving. It evolved from there but I don't think you all would care to read a whole story. If you do not believe in the ability to see spirits or whatever else I might have been seeing, that is okay, believe what you will, but my dream is directly related to this. Well, something keeps telling me it is. In the dream I was behind a house and on the right side was a forest full of large, black, leafless trees. Behind it were hills that climbed upwards and I was on one, above the house and pretty far back. I'm not too sure what was in front of the house or to the left. There was another person with me that told me to tilt my head and begin looking at the world from a new angle. As I did, the trees changed shape and turned into these strange, troll-like creatures that appeared to be sleeping. I don't really remember much after that, just that as I continued to look I could see other strange creatures in the world that no one else seemed to see. According to the person with me, I had inherited this ability from a horseman, though I'm not really sure what that means. Any help you may be able to offer would be awesome! Thank you!

I believe that all of us can acquire a new sight when looking at the world from a new angle: we can see things which we could not see before and which others cannot see if they are not looking from that angle. Now that angle could be supernatural, or intuition, or paying more attention in mindfulness, spirituality, optimism, open mindedness, loving all people as one loves oneself, ... see there are many different new angles to look at this world, and only some of them are supernatural. You know already that you look at the world differently than other people. Perhaps this dream is telling you that you are in the process of changing once more in some way to look at the world from yet a different angle.

Following up on what Joanna said, it might be a more pessimistic angle, since people in general aren't very fond of trolls, but then you described the trees as dead. The dream you had does relate to your second sight (or whatever one wants to call it), but I think that you would be the only one to truly tell whether or not it's "just a dream" or if it actually does have something to do with the entities that you can sense. Being completely honest, though, I'm inclined to believe that at least bits of the dream were red herrings (i.e., "According to the person with me, I had inherited this ability from a horsemen [...]").

Well, the "horseman" could be a reference to the four horseman of thee apocalypse, if that is something that you believe in: this could be an apocalyptic dream, perhaps suggesting that while the evil is asleep now, but when or before the apocalypse comes, it will wake up?
