Just had a horrific dream

I just had an extremely horrific dream. In fact, it was so horrifying, that I am yet to even get out of bed, as I want to know what this means, and I might forget about it later. So basically, the dream begins with me and my little 9 year old brother. I don't remember exactly how this happened, but we both catch some kind of a deadly flu. We were both going somewhere in a car, but we both get out, and lay on the road dying. I try walking a little, and I go a little ahead, and then I faint there. But somehow, I survive, and then I run back home(this whole incident takes place 1/2 a mile near my old home). Its a dream, so my home has been turned into a hospital. I go there and tell the doctor that I don't want to die, and I beg him to save me from the virus. Then, somehow something happened, and I am suddenly outside a field, and inside the field is the hospital. Near the field was a park bench, and my mother had left her purse there. So I am waiting for her to come back, and when she does, I turn into some form of a psychic, and I go somewhere with my mother and there is a big door kind of thing in the ground beneath us. I try using my mental powers to open that door, but it wouldn't. But that always works otherwise. Here, it just doesn't. Just then, the door suddenly opens, and a beast comes out, a demonic beast covered with fire, and I know that instant this is the guy who has my little brother. But somehow, something happens again, and this demon takes out 2 big glasses(that were made of glass, and looked like glasses that are used in bars), and he takes out and puts my heart in one, and my pancreas and liver in the other(I am no biology student, I could be wrong her, but my liver and heart were there for sure). He is going to drink the blood and eat my organs. He keeps the glass aside, somehow I am still alive. I take the glasses, and run to the hospital(all of this is happening near the field where the hospital is now), and I go inside my mothers room(who is now in her room, until a while ago, she was standing outside with me with that demon), and ask her where the OT(operation theatre) is. Some part of the end of this dream continued when I was awake in reality, my eyes were closed, but I was awake. So then, after the OT part, I remember nothing, but this dream has me horrified. It scared the crap out of me. What does this dream mean?

Yeah, that does sound like a horrifying dream!! Really though to me it sounds like typical dream schema stuff. Each thought led directly to the next scenario with visible cause/effect. The only real question would be what caused you to dream of sickness in the first place? Maybe because winter is here now, it's flu season? Oh, your flag is from India - I guess it isn't very cold there right now (if ever?) I'm not sure if there's much info on dream schema available online - it's mostly only well known in circles like dreaming studies or the psychology of the brain especially relating to sleep. I've only encountered it in Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming by Stephen LaBerge. But basically it works like this… You're dreaming, and a thought enters your head. Instantly, since the dream is created and maintained by your own subconscious mind, which reacts to stimulus, the dream reflects the thought, possibly showing you a scenario caused by the thought, or maybe showing you the opposite of it. This is why once the idea of sickness entered your dream the dream became about sickness for a while (laying on a street ill, a hospital, etc). Often once a theme enters the dream it can escalate - especially if the idea is frightening to you, as sickness would be. Very commonly when people dream about sickness which leads to a hospital theme it will continue to escalate into more frightening related themes, like being probed and operated on by aliens, or dissected by demons, or having organs harvested by demonic creatures. Also common to these escalating sickness themes would be ideas like government conspiracies where people are being operated on and turned into mutants or mindless slaves or zombies. You know, stuff like that.

I'm pretty sure this dream alludes to the myth of Dionysus, and his eventual regeneration from his heart. I think there's too much meaning packed into it for anyone to 'interpret' it properly, but you'll remember it, and it may make more sense eventually. I think the first scene describes our human condition. The doctor is an angel of mercy or redemption. The second scene in the dream, in the field, is a response to your request to be saved from the virus of evil. The door is the door to self-knowledge and redemption. Its unlike the other doors to magical imaginative experience, which yield to your will. Your brother is sort of a part of you, like you at another time, not exactly you but a close relative. His monstrous appearance is like how you at first appear to yourself as you begin opening yourself up to feel and face your true nature, before your love and understanding is adequate to truly recognize what you are seeing. His appearance is also like how others may appear to you as your discernment develops from judgment. I think there's a demon that helps generate the dream, its not just something you cooked up yourself. You feel that, which is part of why its scary. But I think you can sort of think of it as a divine messenger delivering a very difficult message. Your experience of it is distorted by the effects of the virus. If you think about whatever ideal of God or love you believe in, and keep your heart towards that, then from that standpoint you can interpret the darker experience without getting frightened or harmed by it. There may be other dreams and experiences later, maybe years later, that clarify this one, it doesn't seem to me to be a complete image. You can ask questions if you are inclined to, and providence will answer the questions eventually. I wouldn't take anything you experience as 'fact' though, some of what comes through is twisted around and wrong, since we're a bit twisted around and wrong. I think we make better progress if we maintain a bit of skepticism. Don't be scared, there's scary stuff in this dream, but its because the world is already scary. In a sense we have already 'died' from the virus, and are trying to recover. This isn't a bad dream. If you can find it in you, I suggest staying away from drugs and alcohol. I know people get sick of me saying this, it sounds so ignorant and preachy. And I do understand that people have to do what they're going to do. But I think that eventually this step is a part of what changes the organ eating monster from a destroyer into a redeemer. Its necessary if you don't want the dream to be a bad dream.
