Thread: What is your experience in interpreting visions?

A vision is different from a dream. I will try to explain that as follows:

1- A dream is a combination of symbols that represent altogether the emotional, psychological and sociological aspects of the dreamer. Nothing is external. Everything is in the dream.

2- A vision is something totally external to the world of the dreamer.

One day, a woman asked me to interpret her vision. She saw in her dream Prophet Muhammad (me and the women are Muslims). He said to her she was his wife until last year but now she is again his wife. There was a baby crawling and he said to her that this baby is moving and is just fine. Then he disappeared.

I told the woman that this is a vision which means:

You used to spend money on an orphan and stopped that charitable practice last year. Prophet is asking you to continue that charity.

She said that was absolutely right.

I knew that because she cannot be the wife of the prophet. An Arabic word given in the Quran for "wife" is "companion". Prophet Muhammad said once that one who spends money in charity on an orphan is his companion in the life hereafter. Thus, I interpreter her dream.
