      Hindu god dreams

Okay I think I interpreted this one well:

A whole herd of elephants jumped of a cliff. Then suddenly I saw myself grocery shopping with Shiva
I think the elephants represent either: 1. Letting the past fall away 2. Ganesh, the elephant headed god, who represented new beginnings
And Shiva (god of destruction) represented: Destruction, of the feelings of attachment to the past. The grocery shopping represented the new options which would come with letting go.

I had a another dream a few years back also:

I was at a house party and I saw Krishna and all the girls thought he was really attractive, but he wasn't interested in them, and he pulled me into a private corner and then he morphed into Radha, his female counterpart, and she kissed me.

What do you think that means? My interpretation is that I find the deep feminine power in people, even when others only like them on the surface, and they will thank me for it.

      Any other ideas?

      On the first dream:

Do you have a friend who 1) differs in ideology and 2) is useless as a friend?(I mean a friend who does nothing useful to you)
My interpretation of dreams is based on hypotheses, some socio-psychological facts and most importantly context.

Remember that the best interpreter of your dreams is you!

There is a message in your dream for you:

Your source of strength in handling difficult situation can be itself a vulnerability through which other people can defeat you.

Elephants: Those are transportation means used by people belonging to a culture that is not close to yours. You did not ride any, so they represent, as such, your attitude towards another person or other persons. You seem to disagree with them.

Grocery: It is a place where one can get food, but also a place where the spirit looks for the food of wisdom.
Shiva: A goddess from India. You are walking side by side with her. It means you do not agree with that friend on a given matter.

      Second dream:
Krishna: A person whom you strongly disagree with. He might be also a person useless for friendship. You know that in discussions that he might "corner" you but still will not be able to persuade you of his opinion.

Metamorphosis: Now, Krishna (your friend) could not defeat you using his own logic or arguments. So, he can use your arguments and through your logic he can start defeating you.
My interpretation of dreams is based on hypotheses, some socio-psychological facts and most importantly context.

Remember that the best interpreter of your dreams is you!

I think if you go grocery shopping with the god of destruction that means you are associating with him, so I would interpret that to mean that you feel destructive in some way: either you feel guilty that you destroyed something (and that something could be a relationship or a potential or something else nontangible), or it could be that you feel angry and feel like destroying something. Grocery shopping should result in nutrition not in destruction, so maybe you feel like destroying something you think you should nurture instead? The elephants going off a cliff is a massive act of self destruction. Do you feel like you are destroying yourself in some way?

I have had a lot of friends who had both of those qualities actually, and it makes sense that the dream would be alluding to that actually! Thanks for the suggestion!

I always feel guilty for messing things up Joanna, I used to have A LOT of destructive tendencies, even of stuff I think I should nurture or will nurture me, and even of myself! Thanks for seeing that!
