The dream was in a 3rd person view almost like a movie.
The setting is in Japan and the person in my dream is living in a rundown shack of an apartment there on a vacation. The guy meets seductive and attractive Japanese woman with crazy green eyes. The guy gets a bad feeling from the woman but is still attracted to her. Bad things start to happen to this guy like losing his wallet and starting to have problems communicating with other people it makes it harder and harder for him to leave the apartment
The man finds out the woman is behind his troubles and he tries to get the woman to leave him alone but she will not go. The man visits a old Japanese man who owns a shop he thinks the old man can help him with his troubles. The shop is at the top of a long winding staircase. The staircase almost reminds me of the MC Escher stairs. The shop sat atop of the staircase and if you were to look at the shop you would not be able to fuggier out how the shop was just floating there connected to the stairs. The old man gives the man 3 special locks to try and lock the woman out of his apartment. The old man tells the man that he is being tormented by a demon and not to be afraid. The old man Looks like the stereotypical Kun-fu master with the long white mustache and beard.
After returning to his apartment the guy did not see the woman around and decides locks the doors with the special locks. After placing all the locks on the doors he finds out he is locked in the apartment with the woman and he's extremely irritated and frustrated. He begins to argue with the woman but she remains cool and collected and cannot be convinced to leave the man alone.
The man takes the lock off of the front door and opens it demands the woman to leave. The woman refuses to leave and then in a fit of rage the man decides the only way to get rid of this woman is to kill her. He stabs her repeatedly and she falls to the floor and her body vanishes. The man goes to shut and lock the front door and sees a small salamander or lizard staring at him he tries to scare the creature away and it keeps returning always staring at him. The man starts to get mad and irritated and realizes this is the same feeling he had with the woman. The man knows the woman is the lizard and then the woman appears.
The man is stressed that he cannot get rid of this woman. A friend of the man shows up he tells his friend about this woman who is tormenting him and his friend tries to help him leave. At this point a monster appears at the door and traps the man and his friend both inside of the apartment. The monster tells them that he has to kill the man's friend at this point I realize I am the man trapped in the apartment the friend that has shown up is a friend that I have had falling out with.
My friend and I were both scared and stressed. I'm trying to decide if I should use my jujitsu to try to protect us but I am frozen in fear of the monster. The monster attacked my friend with the blunt end of the axe he was holding; the monster is smashing my friend repeatedly. My friend tries to run for the door and the monster throws the axe at him and get hits him in the back of the head killing him.
The next thing I remember I see myself on an airplane heading back home feeling like I had possibly lost this demon woman. I can see the sun shining through the windows of the plane and I am stroking what looks like a paper cutout of a tongue from a dragon. I unroll the paper to see that it is a dragon paper cut out as I'm stroking it I realize it is covered in blood and it is the demon still with me. Then I woke up.
I did not feel scared during this dream even though some of it was scary.

Before I went to bed the night I had this dream I was writing in my journal about some my thought in regards to me practicing Buddhism. How over the past year I have not progressed as much as I would have liked.
