Thread: Does anyone know what this could mean??

Well, what are you anxious about right now in waking life? Do you have any secret anxiety?

yes, I have anxiety about a lot of things very often but not about these "secrets" i was running from, or of my old high school.

If you have a lot of anxiety about a lot of things, then that would explain why you had a dream about anxiety. Dreams are not literal, so the anxiety would not be about those "secrets", but maybe your mind is suggesting that some causes of your anxiety are secrets that you still need to explore? Also your old high school in your dream is not literally about your old school. School could symbolize learning for example that you are in the process of learning something, perhaps a life lesson not necessarily the type of knowledge taught at school. Or it could be because school and anxiety are intertwined in people's minds: we are anxious about tests and grades and such. A lot of people have anxiety dreams that are set in school even many years after they have left school, and so school is a fairly common setting for dreams.

Maybe you were afraid of your deepest secrets, or them being known by others, or learning to fix them. Or just afraid of yourself, your deeper secret self you or no one sees, which can cause this anxiety.
Maybe if you are not yourself or show and express yourself.
It sounds like others, not you, arrested your progress, making you anxious, and you couldn't escape it.
