Girl I like dreamt that I killed her mother?

Hello, here's some context for you interpreters out there who might find some clarity in what the dream could mean, as it might have something to do with the time we spent together and her family.

There's this girl whom we said that we liked each other, then we kissed and i take her out on a date which ends up ok but later on in a night out, i overhear from her friends while they were drunk that she friendzoned me. From the date I learned that her parents were split and she has an uneasy relationship with her Dad and lives with her Mother (This is important!).After that I learned that she was just one of those girls that simply doesnt know what they want, however I'm not entirely sure.An awkward phase later, we're on good terms. 2 days ago she texted me that she had a dream that I killed her mother. She said she can't remember how but I said in the dream "It's all cool, just chill." and she replied shouting at me "You killed my mum!". Then she wakes up. I'm just wondering if this might be linked with how she feels for me, or if im linked to her family and stuff.

To give you an idea about what she's like, imagine Marilyn Monroe (minus the drug addiction and such) but in terms of how she was very glamorous and loved luxury and gallivanting.

People in the west are so disconnected with dreams and the inner life in general that they always tend to misunderstand the symbols and take them too literally. I'd guess killing her mother could represent you taking the place of her guardian/protector. Just as a new king succeeds the old one by killing him - it's symbolic. Possibly it means she honestly considered marrying you, and thought about it, and the dream was a symbolic interpretation of that thought process. That's the first thing that comes to mind anyway. Of course it would me better if we knew more about the dream, how was it done, what happened before and after etc.
