Deceased Dad Nightmares...

Hello, all! I'm back. I've posted here a few times before, not sure if anyone remembers me. My name is Clyde. (Please see my past dreams here, I think they are relevant to the dream I want interpreted, if you have the time.) If you clicked the link and read my past dreams, I applaud and thank you - I feel it's relevant for you to know more about me and my past before you interpret this dream. This dream is something that occured last night - and I'm so baffled and confused. So, if you read my dreams from the thread I linked, you'd know that I lost my dad in a very brutal, horrible way, and I have been haunted in nightmares by it. I've been having dreams the last week or two. A few days ago I had a dream that my dad was being shot to death in our home (this is how he died in actuality.) Then the next night, I had a dream I was being chased into my room by the same people (police) that shot and killed him. They were shooting at me, and a bullet hit me and I was bleeding. I looked around, I was all alone(as I am in real life right now.) I was bleeding and nobody could save me. Then all of the sudden I saw a super bright light coming towards me, and as it got closer I realized it was my dad... he was in Angel form.. then I woke up. Well last night, I had another dream - a nightmare actually. It's so RANDOM and I don't understand. In my dream, for some reason, we were outside talking, my dad, and my brothers, and I. And I don't understand what was going on, but we were on some type of mission to complete.... my dad decided to use a helicopter for this, not sure why. But he had a helicopter accident and died.... and I remember we were all so confused and hurt, but I dont understand!! A helicopter accident? He was shot to death in his life..... in real life... can someone help me make this clear? If you need more information, I'd be glad to help, but... there wasnt much to it except the fact that he was in a helicopter accident that led to his death and we were all sad, then I woke up Thanks in advance!!

When it comes to your nightmare about the helicopter accident. My guess would be that your subconscious are trying to dealing with some grief that you have left to work with. And why there was a helicopter crash. My guess is that you dads death was very chocking and unexpected, so maybe your subconscious are making a new unexpected scenario to be able to handle such a chocking situation that causes some great loss and grief. You dream where you saw him as an angel sounds very intersting, I would like to recommend a book to you that I believe you might find interesting as well, since you mentioned this dream with the light. The book is called The Art of Dying By by Peter Fenwick and Elizabeth Fenwick. I think this book could be a potential help with your progression about the loss of your dad.
