Hey.

Just registered as I need help interpreting a couple of dreams I've had the last couple of weeks. I'm a 20 year old guy from Sweden, currently living in Beijing studying Mandarin from January to June. I'm not really here to learn the language, though (even if I do make sort of an effort), I'm here as I needed to get away from home for a while.

Back in Sweden I never used to take any afternoon naps, but I have started now occasionally since coming to Beijing, and especially last couple of weeks. If I'm not mistaken, the last four times (might be 4 out of 5 or something) I've been abruptly waken up because of something happening in the dream. I however remember close to nothing about the dreams, but I'll try to reiterate as much as possible.

The first time I was in a club here in Beijing (though it wasn't one I've been to - didn't recognise it) and I was there with one of my three roommates. Basically what happened was we were walking from the dance floor to the bar, when I suddenly started to feel dizzy, I somewhat slowly lost my eyesight, my legs started to bend, and eventually I fell to the ground collapsing. At which point I woke up.
The roommate involved in the dream is one of my closest friends here and I like him a lot, he's genuinely a good guy and fun to hang out with. However he does have a tendency to drift away, in conversations, and not actively participate in it. He also spends a lot of time in bed (sleeping, being on his laptop or whatever).

Second dream was also about collapsing. I was walking with two of my friends through a security check here in Beijing (there's a lot of them, checking bags and whatnot), when suddenly a new security guard appeared - former football (soccer) player Michael Owen! We were all shocked, football fans as we are, said hi and continued walking, shook his hand and then continued. He also let us through without having to do the security check. We started walking up a flight of stairs when the same thing happened again as the mentioned above dream - dizzyness, eyesight failing me, legs failing me, and eventually I collapsed and fell down the stairs. Then I woke up.
I'm not entirely sure what the scene in this dream was, but thinking about the setting it must've been something like a theater, cinema, concert hall, or something of the sorts. Regarding Michael Owen I have absolutely no idea why he showed up - I don't have any particular feelings about him at all, as a player or as a person. I don't remember who the friends in this dream were, but I am sure they are friends I've made here in China.

The third dream was yesterday, and I remember literally nothing except for suddenly getting massively hit by something in the back of my head and waking up with a hurting head and feeling very dizzy. Funny thing about this is that my pain in the back of my head didn't disappear for the rest of the day. I am 100% I didn't hit my head while sleeping, I was in such a position when I woke up that that would've been impossible.

Fourth dream was today and was a close copy to something that happened earlier today in school. Basically what happened was that me and a friend messed around a bit in the couch, he grabbed me from behind and started tickling me (I'm extremely ticklish, though he didn't know that), at which point I tried to getting free, which I eventually did.
What happened in the dream was almost that. Though this time we were a bunch sat in the apartment. I sat on the floor, leaning against my friend's (another friend) knees as there wasn't a seat available in the sofa. Suddenly, he grabbed me from behind and started tickling me - though less violently than happened in real life, and I woke up almost immediately.
The friend in this dream is probably my best friend here - a fellow Swede, five years older - and I absolutely love the guy. We have a really good and open friendship and get along really well. Not sure if it matters to the dream, but about a week and a half ago he almost got into a fight with a Chinese guy who started pushing and hitting him in his chest, a tad hot headed as my friend is he wanted to really fight that guy - but I managed to step in between them and managed to get my friend away from the Chinese fella (wasn't easy I tell you).

So. Any thoughts or questions? Any help appreciated. My theory is that my body isn't used to being asleep in the afternoon, so it creates situations in dreams where I wake up. But I know absolutely nothing about dreams so I don't know if that's possible or if it is/can be deeper than that.
