What is my mind trying to tell me?

This night i had a really weird dream. It was me from future, returning to the past, but long before i was even born(i would say ancient times). It was set in the city where i live in, but everything just looked so older. I joined one group of escaping people where i recognized my "future" friend and felt happy to see him, but i got mad at him being unable to do what was needed. We were being chased by some group of armed people, but did not manage to escape and had to fight. We suddenly had weapons in our hands and fought back and in process i killed guy that looked like a leader of hostile group and everything just dissapeared, except me and one girl there. Even the city changed and looked really differently. I have never seen her face before or just do not remember, but felt really good being around her. After we shared a kiss, she just fell down into some kind of hole and dissapeared. Suddenly my "future" friend that has dissapeared few moments ago joined me and jumped into hole with me. Everything dissapeared and we reappeared in a lake, which is weird because i am a really bad swimmer. When we got out from the lake, we have been standing in front of a castle from the medieval times and it looked like we are somewhere in Egypt. There was a water all around the castle that prevented us from entering it for now. However, i noticed that girl being in that building, but she did not seem to be there voluntarily. Bridge appeared out of nothing again and we could enter the castle. After some fighting in the castle we got the girl out, but on our way back i broke my leg and could not run or walk anymore.(i never had broken leg) So i decided to stay there and send them both away running, so they could escape. After that everything dissapeared and i woke up. Can someone interpret this to me, please?

Is there anything that makes you think it has some meaning? It sounds like a pretty normal dream to me, though I can see how it taking place long in the past could make it feel really weird and special. I'd say that's all it is - it just really seemed strange and so it fascinated you. When people wake from dreams like that they tend to post in here thinking it means something. Is there anything happening in your life that might relate to it? * Disclaimer - personally I believe dreams are psychological and mostly just random. The way I see it, you are an adventurous type who's maybe been lacking an adventure recently. Is this true? Maybe the romantic historic setting emphasises how badly you want an adventure. The only other interpretation I can think of is that you may be trying to escape some deadline or you are scared of something in your waking life. Is there something on your mind? Exams maybe, something like that? Or have you been playing similar video games; Assassin's Creed?

aDarkmatters Nothing except regularly meeting with a group of friends of which the one in dream is part of. aBEEFYpWnGe I did not play AC for few years now. But i have a "problem" that is time-related(deadline) and it kinda makes me frustrated, so that might be it? And about a lack of adventure, i would say i am having a bit of too much at the moment than lacking it tho .

Must be the deadline then. It's sent your subconscious into a running away panic! xD Calm down and start embracing it and hopefully your dreams will become more peaceful.
