      Can't walk at school

The day before school started, i had this dream that i was already in school and i was walking down the hallways, when all of a sudden my legs gave out. They felt like rubber and i couldn't walk. Everyone was staring at me. Why did this happen? It's not like i was nervous about school starting or anything. I've had this happen to me before when all of a sudden my legs become paralized. So what could it mean?

they were staring at me because i was trying to hold myself up because my legs didn't work. They had expressions on their faces that were like "omg, what's wrong with her." like they wanted to help, but they didn't want to get involved. And not being able to walk in a dream is like the worst feeling in the world. I mean, what if that really happened to you in real life; like you were walking, and all of a sudden you fall because your legs gave out.

I guess when i think of it now, the feeling that i felt in my dream is becoming more clear. And the feeling was the worry that.....gosh how do i explain this???!!!! Pretend you're walking down a public hallway, and your legs give out, and you can't stand...and nobody helps you, you're embarrassed, and everyone just keeps walking by. They look at you, and they feel bad, but they don't know what to do . So they do nothing.

well, everyone's a littler nervous about school, espescially subconsciously. A week before my school started, I had a non-lucid dream that my new school was a mile wide and ten stories high and I was constantly getting lost.
I am doing a science fair project on lucidity and controling dreams, and appriciate any imput or advice that others have.

It sounds likes a simple case of anxiety, lack of self confidence that you will cope well. Beginning high school is a nervous experience for anyone, and I bet many others have the same feeling. I hope your initial cold feet phase has passed.

Anxiety Dreams are the Higher Minds means of making us anxious. Apparently, sometimes our Higher Mind does not suppose we are already under enough stress for optimum operation parameters, and so the Whip is flicked just behind our ears and we lean harder into the yoke.

The good news is that Anxiety Dreams work. A study was performed and it found that those people who had the most anxiety dreams were also the best performers and highest achievers.

Well, i like that advice leo. And for the viewers, i didn't just start highschool. In fact, this is my last year. Normally i'm excited about school. And all summer i was anticipating to go. So hearing the interpretations that i was nervous was like a kick in the face.

I think the reason people have been saying that you're nervous is probably because they thought this was your first year. Since it's your last year there may be another reason. I thought that perhaps something happened at the end of last year with someone at school that your subconscious hasn't resolved and now that you are finally going to see him/her you are unsure of what will happen. Or an event that happened over the holidays that will only conclude with you being back at school.

      Your opinions???
