dreaming for a year about this guy who i've never met

      Hello,
June 30th 2004 was when I first started to have dreams about this person.
I met him in my dreams and to this day have not seen anyone in reality who is this person or who maybe relates to him in any form.

      Dream#1:
I found myself in this large medieval/victorian house where I then walked into him. I believe he was dressed like a prince. He has that deep sort of monotone look to his face with jet black neck to chin length hair.
We were both pacing each other but stopped as I guess felt this sort of connection.
He stood still and I walked over to him. We just stared at each other longingly like we knew that we wanted to be together but couldn't.
Then another young woman walked into the room. I believe it was his bride to be, but chosen by his parents.
      That is pretty much it.

      Dream#2:
I was at this beach house my family, friends, and I go to when I was walking past this one store and noticed a huge pool of mud cascading into the store.
I went inside and there were all this sort of black dressed troopers stuck waist deep in the mud and were asking for my help.
So I then got on top of something and pulled each and everyone of them out with rope.
Then suddenly everyone and the mud was gone leaving the store dark and quiet when suddenly he appeared wearing a blue shirt with a sort of glowing light around him.
I think he told me thank you or something and then In my dream I woke up in the beach house.
I then noticed that lots of things in the room were stained blue. And then on the floor there were this lively little blue spots that formed a trail.
I woke up though before I could follow it outside.

      Dream#3:
It was sort of like an underworld/matrix theme mixed with zombies.
I walked up to this one security guy to ask him something when I then saw him walking up this large hallway to the main room that I was in.
It didn't feel right so I started walking to him when all of a sudden two zombies jumped out in the hallway that he was in.
I did some kind of run and slide as I shot at the zombies. Everything was ok until we noticed more zombies coming.
So we decided to hide in a closet. The Zombies were about to break down the door so we decided to kick the shelf above our heads at them when the door opened.
It didn't quite work so I then flicked my wrist at them as these rainbow colors came out of my fingertips and killed all the zombies. (Funny because I had made something up like that with the rainbow colors.)
And that is all I can remember for that dream.

      Dream#4:
I was in the dressing room of a kid's clothing store with my little sister when the mirror behind me slid open and I fell back in a sort of chute in what seemed to be my kitchen. (but it was just one room filled with lots of boxes and papers.)
There were two guys, one of them who was him. They started to joke about something and then we all laughed.
Then It was just him and I outside near dark. We were walking on top of this stone wall when I stopped walking and started to think how this was my dream and that he is actually here and I can do anything I want with him now that I'm with him.
So I went up to him and just put my arms around him.
And then, in between actually waking up and falling back asleep I came back to the same spot and he was going to bite me on the neck like a vampire but I wasn't scared.
Then there was this huge spider that kept capturing me and he had to save me twice.

      Dream#5:
I was in the mall when people started screaming and running, and for some reason I thought I would be safe if I asked a group of gothic people to hide me. He was one of them. But instead of hiding me they picked me up and carried me away.
They got into one car while he took me in another car.
We were driving for a short time that felt like forever when he suddenly took a turn to the side into a park where he started telling me how much he loved parks.
Then we arrived at this one large stone building in the middle of no where surrounded by all this dirt and lit torches.
I could hear people singing from outside but it was kind of creepy.
Then the group of gothic people started to change into ugly demons and so did he. I told him that it scared me so he changed back to human form.
Then we stopped at the door.
I put my hand on it and in my dream got flash backs of the faces of a man and a woman.
Sadly, I woke up without going inside.

      Dream#6:
I didn't see him in this dream, but I was looking for him because if I couldn't find him by a certain time then I would have to marry this older man who wasn't all that nice.
The dream had a sort of black, blue, and rainy look to it.
I remember running around everyone searching for him and then finally finding where he last was at a train station.
The dream was cut off short just there.

      Dream#7:
This one is really short, but we were both in my kitchen washing dishes and I was trying to hint to him the fact that it was our anniversary.
      That's it.

      Dream#8:
I was at this school and I was in the kitchen looking out the window when something caught my attention.
So I went outside and headed to the woods.
Then suddenly he appeared dressed in some kind of feathery native american outfit.
He told me he had to go and I was really upset.
He then kissed my forehead and told me that he would come back for me, and then (so strange.) he then looked to my stomach and said something like and you too.

I've named the guy from my dreams "Pryderi".

Well . . . it's been a while . . . but I've had more dreams and two new people seem to haunt them now.
One is a vampire and he seems to be cruel, but then I believe he cares for things in some sense because I seem to remember him when he was mortal.
The other is like my guardian, yet he is playful like a child. He always dresses in white suits and he was wings inwhich he hides I think. I named him Gabriel and the vampire I named Raegan.
Pryderi of course is still the main guy from my dreams.

I remember random parts of dreams. But for the most of them, I used to wonder if Pryderi were a vampire or not. There was one dream where I thought he killed someone . . . but I don't think he did.

In one dream, I found myself packing and leaving Raegan's home. (His home is sort of like a modern castle. Quite beautiful actually.) I think I was just staying there for sometime . . . or that I had a room there maybe.
Anyway, I remember that Raegan was wearing a silk robe. (kind of funny thinking about it now.) He was going to have a party. Although, it was more of a dark sensual party with drinking blood and the sorts. (Yes I know this sounds quite odd.)
Then I remember being with Gabriel and my family and I felt better and protected. But I didn't see Pryderi.

Then . . . one night I had a dream where I walked into this one large room lit with candles . . . and I think I had walked in on Pryderi with someone else. I remember everything so clearly about it. But then I woke up suddenly. I had a few random dreams about Pryderi after that . . . but I think they were just regular mind dreams and not the kind I used to have.
I haven't had any dreams of Pryderi since, but I get this feeling ever so often that he has somehow shifted again into another way of being around me. Before the dreams started, I think I could just feel him. It's sort of that way now.

I know I must sound crazy . . . but when these sort of dreams continue for more then a year, you can really get lost in them.

Any help or just thought talking would be quite nice. ^_^

      Dear Chaindoll,

It must be different for men. I dream of lady friends, but it is rarely the same lady more than once or twice. Occassionally I will be separated from a lady friend in a dream, and just as I begin to miss her, I will meet a new lady friend, and it always seems that the new lady is as good or better than the preceeding one.

They did studies on the mating habits of animals. It seems that animals, even animals that are supposedly monogymous, will mate with others given the opportunity -- the 'opportunity' for males being any available female that offers herself, and the 'opportunity' for women, being any male of superior rank or status -- of higher dominance standing than her mate.

Obviously, this Dream Man represents something of an Ideal. It could be a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you enjoy these dreams. A curse because you will never be able to be happy with any other man... falling short of your ideal.

Of course, if the dream were prophetic, it would indicate a real guy out there somewhere. But I would doubt it. The Entity might be a real Astral Entity, but it is unlikely to be a actual physical person. But it may represent a TYPE. Prior to these Dreams, you may have been falling for the wrong kind of guy, and these dreams were intended to have you fall in love with the right kind of guy -- the right kind of guy for you. So maybe these dreams will continue until you meet approximately the same TYPE. If that should ever happen, then I would guess that the dreams would soon cease thereafter. When the real TYPE arrives, then your Dream Mind will know to no longer distract you with the Subjective Abstraction of your Ideal.

Anyway, I'll think some more about this odd series of dreams, and I'll let you know if I think of any other possibilities.

      Rathering interesting thoughts. ^_^
Sometimes I feel like it's a curse in a way because I never seem to be able to be happy with any other man.
It's just become odd lately with how many times a great guy I would find would suddenly vanish or forget me. Or they would actually just be visiting where I live and they would live really live far away. Or they would suddenly stop e-mailing or coming to a place.

      Anyways.

I really don't know what to think.
I mean, the dreams are always different but we are always the same in them and we always know each other and that we are "for" each other or such like that.
I had a very spiritual woman tell me that I was connected to him through my soul somehow. Although she wasn't sure where he was exactly or in what way he stood in my life. She said though that dreams of him would come and go and they did just that.
Like, after he told me in one dream that he would come back he did after a month or so.

I believe in other worldy things, so to say. And I've had many encounters of different types of things and hear voices often. Of course that may seem like another subject compared to dreams, although I would like to think it not true. After all, how do we know that we aren't actually dreaming now and when we dream is when we are awake?
That is another confusing topic. lol

Quite confusing things in all I would say.
      Interesting things though.

Well, it is good to believe in the concrete reality of your own subjective dream experience, because, on that level, you dream man offers what in every way is a very satisfying romantic experience. considering how poorly many actual waking experiences turn out to be, a good relationship, even if it is only in dreams, should be to be envied.

Perhaps this is a fixed and actual Soul, and not simply an internal projection. In that case, I really don't suspect that you really would be entirely happy with another man. And yet it may still be a Type, which is preparing you by giving you a set of standards for what you should find acceptable in a man. Heaven knows, some women simply do not know what to look for.

Hmmm. Well he does seem to be the kind of guy I'd like to date. But I don't believe I made him up.

Well, what are the chances of these being 'Shared Dreams'? Now, that would be romantic! I once had a shared dream with a young woman. We were both raiding the Cafeteria in the middle of the night and we each had no idea it had been a dream. We met the next morning and as soon as our eyes met, we realized we had been in each other's dream.

So, certainly, if you ever meet this gentlemen in real life, and the dreams had actually been shared experiences, then that will be a moment to remember, as your eyes meet for the first time in waking reality.

Now, that will be a story for the grandchildren, huh?

That happened to you? wow . . . it's like a fairy tale or something. ^_^ Only a bit more different. lol But still quite lovely.
It's not much really . . . but just about every time I doubt Pryderi's existance I always find something heart shaped at that exact moment. Kind of cute in it's own little way.
Or maybe I was just noticing heart shaped things more so because I had been thinking of him.

Somehow I like dream#7 best, it's cute that you're washing dishes together while you're hinting to him that it's your anniversary
My intuition about it all is that it's human nature to make up stories to help us on how we live our lives, such as mythology. I can't quite explain it, but somehow the mind uses these stories that parallel one's own life or situation as a source of lessons or ideas. It may just be nature's ways of changing you inside, and how you live your life on the outside.

On another dream forum, I was told that washing dishes in my dream was a way of my mind working on to another dream. I did have another dream after that, actually.
