Had a dream about Maynard from tool (i think) had this tattoo on his right forearm. I also have a tattoo of a symbol on my forearm in real life.
He was holding his hand out to a black woman and telling her that nothing is more important than accepting yourself for who you are , and not by how others think of you. Then it shifted to him telling me the same thing in the same.

Then a saw myself promoting this to others.

This is a very simple meaning, but it's the symbol that I'm in question about. To him, the symbol would be inverted but this was the perspective I was seeing it from.
