She keeps popping up in my dreams

I keep having dreams about a woman whose face I cannot see.(I'm gay btw lol) I know what her hair color is, her build, how she smells, just about every detail about her except for her face. In every dream we're doing relationship things, going out on dates and spending time together and with each dream time seems to be passing. In the first dream I've had about her a few months ago, we were in a dorm room and she hugged me(I'm assuming I was 18-19 years old and I'm 16 now in real life.). We kept embracing for the entire dream yet I never saw her face. I held her, my chin on her head and that was the whole dream. Then weeks after that, I had another dream with that same woman. This time however, I felt we were a tad bit older, (maybe 21,22, or 23 years old) and we were walking down a sidewalk hand in hand. I can feel myself smiling, every time I'm with her I'm filled with so much happiness. Her back was facing me but I knew it was her. Then a month or so after that, I had another dream with her in it! This time, we were living in a house together with two twin daughters. She was laying down next to me in the middle of the night(I'm assuming we were married, in our late 20s or early 30s) when I heard a noise downstairs. I kissed her, got out of the bed and grabbed a gun and headed to my twins(they weren't faceless, I knew what they looked like exactly) room to make sure they were secured before I went downstairs to see what the noise was. I was doing everything in my power to protect my family. I walked into my twins room, scanned and someone came up behind me and knocked me out(this is another dream I'll post about separately, but this was a dream she was also featured in so I included it). I don't know what her face looked like but if I smelled what she smelled like, I'd be able to identify it. She's Latina, shorter than me with long brown hair and a small build. I've read other forums and entries online of people with dreams and situations similar to mine, one man saying the faceless woman in his dreams ended up being the woman he married, and another woman saying she had a series of dreams with a faceless little girl who turned out to be the daughter she gave birth to months later. She's the only one whose face I don't see in these dreams and I'm wondering who she is or what her significance is in these dreams. Will I meet her someday, have I seen her before, I have sooooo many questions! Tell me what you think and let me know if you've had any similar experiences! Thanks

Another way of looking at it, would be saying the women is another side you, your feminine side if you will .

Btw what does she smell like? can you describe it, is it like a flower or something maybe its a lost memory trying to resurface. I think thats your biggest clue.

I never thought of it that way, thank you for your response! See, I also thought about that too, it being a smell from my past connected to someone else or something else but it's such a distinct smell. I know it's nothing I've smelled before, I would've been able to tell what it what but her smell is something so particular. She has a sweet smell, sort of like conditioner when you get out of the shower, kind of sweet but also a mature smell. I know that sounds generic but smells are hard to describe in text lol but It was so calming
