Asked back to my old job

I had a dream last night, that I was back at my old job visiting the boys. As it happened I saw an old friend (who had never worked their in real life) just about to leave the place after working their for a fair while. However my old bosses were begging him to stay, as he had a specialist position which no one knew. He responded by saying he'd only stay if I was brought back into the company as a team leader. With that he left. Don't know what it meant, wasn't particularly interested in going back there to work, and I was kind of left outside confused wondering what the heck just happened. Anyone have any ideas on what this means?

I think your subconsciousness was just playing around with the idea of going back to your old job and stuff. It does that a lot: mixing all kind of things and testing different scenarios etc. (atleast that's how it seems judging from all the weird dreams people have). It doesn't really mean anything. Or then your brain was processing the memory of working there, too. Atleast that's what happens during sleep. I'm not sure, but that's my opinion.

Thank you for this. I don't think I miss the place, but I get the feeling is not the last I've heard from them.
