Thread: The Ancient Ones

i heard the use of that term used in ronald dahls book the wicthes, the head wicth was handing out potions to them and the others had to make there own but "The Ancient Ones" were to old to get the ingrediants not much sorry (good book btw)

Before I write about the dream I want to give details that I remember. They wore black cloaks and were in the desert. I remember there was a group of them. They felt very powerful.

It was as if I was watching them from above. I heard one of the group members say we can use this person. I remember them having a strange look and then I was forced to wake up.

You should take a look at Zoroastrianism, the parent Religion of the Sufi Sects which still hold a powerful presence withing the Spiritual Communities, respected by Catholic, Yogic, Hindu and Buddhist Religious Orders alike. Indeed, even though a Catholic, in response to the Doctrinal Purity of Zoroastrianism, I would not venture to create a New Syntheis of Universal Religion without giving a very high place to Zoroastrian/Sufi Influences.

Indeed, historically we can see the Zoroastrians, in the Persons of the Three Kings who alone in All the Ancient World had recognized the Messianic Reality of Jesus Christ, that they were not only the only True Religion, the only Loyal Religion, but the Only Religion that had followed the Will of God. Also, is is very impressive that they were able to demonstrate the Spiritual Atonement for Correct Prophecy which alone, of all People's in the World, led them in a Supernatural Way to the Infant Christ.

These Ancient One's of the Desert are the Zoroastrians who are still Alive in the Religious Brotherhoods and Orders of the Sufis.

I just took a look at what you posted and from there a lot does make sense with my own belief and understanding. You see ironically I'm christian but not by religion but belief. I believe something is out there or was out there and still is. I don't know if it is really a religon they are talking about but a mind set. From that page thd undersanding of choices is lessons that we learn and live through. How we proceive life is made up of these choices. Even bad choices can create good people. It is through the process of life that we observe and understand the very event that is life itself.

The talking of spreading it through humanity to me seems like people who have achieved wisedom in their own life trying to help others to see it. It's more of a philosophy then a religion. Ironically thinking like that I can find great truths in it. Maybe it is just because I see myself as a Observer of Life that I can understand it pretty well. I'll do some more searches on that word and thanks for the information.
