Thread: Tornado and violent Thunderstorm dream

Ok.. I have had reoccuring dreams of tornado's and was told and/or read that violent storms indicate stress or living with something stressful. So the fact you took control of the storm would to me indicate that you are a determined person by nature and do not run from problems but you try instead to find a solution.
Can you see anything in your life now that you've been stressed over? Like a problem at work or usually in a relationship that you have determined to find an answer or solution to?

I agree with that, you are probably telling yourself that you ar enot really afraid of life and you suspect that you have strong abilities etc. I think it is probably true. Also notice that you took control of something in your dream. You may also learn from that that you can control your dreams, a step toward being an accomplished LDer if you are not already.

Tonight will be my first real attempt at dream control. I am fascinated by all this and what possibilities this can provide. I have often said I wish I could have one peaceful night of not dreaming but now maybe atleast I can have some control over the dreams and actually get some rest. My dreams have kept me from sleep on more than one occassion and I am tired of feeling somewhat helpless in dealing with them.

Have you ever used safety devices before in your dreams?

Tornadoes often plauge my dreams as well, though I am not usually afraid nor do I attempt to control them. They usually just occur, do their damage, throw me a number of miles, and then I land perfectly safe. I usually have the dreams during stressful times so I agree with the previous comments on stress. They are strange dreams none the less and can feel very real... minus landing on my feet without a scratch.

I guess the storm is stress from a situation and the tornadoes are senseless arguements. These arguements have hurt your relationship with your grandmother & aunt. Your parents are aware of this and talk about it. And the house is always you.
The older lady is wisdom and understanding, perhaps a female wisdom, and the baby is a new beginning.
This is an optimistic dream because you had the power to take control of your emotions and consequences by stopping the storm. This may be a new strength from within.
