Thread: Trying to wake up

Hi,

I had a dream last night and I was wondering if anyone else had similar dreams or knew what it might mean:

It was an ordinary night, then mid-way through the night about 4am I woke up, and tried to leave my room, so I opened the door, but someone shouted 'shut the door, shut the door' and they were vomiting at the same time on my floor!

I went back in my room and tried to turn the light on, but the power was not working, I tried my lamp, and nothing came on.

I thought 'I'm dreaming here, this is a dream' so I started to hit myself to wake myself up, and that didnt work, so I opened my door and slammed it shut REALLY hard, about 2 times, and started shouting and making noise, then:

I woke up. I got up and went into the living room, and my parents and friends and some people I'd never met were there, and apparently they had a generator outside to keep the light running in the living room, then I walked outside thru my back door onto grass. (which is wierd cos I live in a 2nd floor flat with no garden)

I went back inside and everyhing was blurry and colourful. I said to my friend ' I thought I was dreaming, but I feel like I might have taken some wierd psychadelic drug, and he said 'yeah you took one of these' and showed me a brown capsule. I then said 'this is a bad trip, thats all, it'll be over soon' . Then my arm felt itchy, so I scratched it, and my skin broke open and there were slashes all over them, blood gushing out.. I though 'my god I've done this to myself whithout realising because I've been drugged. So we went outside to a blue convertable car and drove to the hospital. Outside the hospital I realised I felt no pain in my arms, so I picked at the flesh, and it all came apart like rubber. It wasnt real. Someone (I think me) had faked the injuries to myself. When we realised it was okay we went to an arcades to play some video games (dunno why) and the dream fades out then I wake up.

I then get up and flick the light swtich, to my ultimate relief the light comes on. This time I am really awake.

This dream in particular freaked me out because I kept thinking I had woke up and that I had been dreaming, only to start thinking that because it was so realistic I simply must have ben drugged or taken drugs.

anyone have any idea if this means anything?
