Short yet curious dream. Any thoughts?

      I had dreamt the following:

I sent a girl I know in reality (and have been in the same online community with until only recently) an email with the words "I love you".
However, I then realized that she would actually read the letter (as if I had sent it in fear of it actually being read and thought beforehand that it wouldn't be) and proceeded to write another email explaining that the previous one was for someone else and sent to her on accident (even though it actually wasn't).[/b]
Now, this isn't an extremely long or unbelievably odd dream but I'm curious about what it could mean for certain reasons. I've thought it over myself of course but for different reasons, I would rather also ask if anyone has any ideas about interpreting this dream. One of those reasons being that this is pretty much the first and only dream I can recall that I've had concerning the concept of love and related aspects.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

      some interpretation

Part of the interpretation would depend on what your feelings you have IRL for this girl.

It appears in the dream that you have ambivalent feelings. On the one hand you want indicate your interest to her. On the other hand you have some anxiety about her response, and so want to rescind your first "email".

Perhaps if you continue to think about this dream, you will have more related to it.

I think it has to do with a fear that you cannot control or hide feelings. Romantic and sexual feelings may make you feel transparent. LIke others can see them. IN regards to other feelings you may feel you can hide them. So the dream is an attempt to reduce anxiety and work with the anxiety. The feeling pops out and then you take it back. But this is not satisfactory cause it did get out there.

I think it depends strongly on how you were feeling and what was motivating you when you wrote "i love you"--there's a big difference between being sincere and then being unsure of whether or not she would reciprocate and doing it as a mean joke of some kind, and then feeling bad and trying to disarm it.
