Attacked by Lions

i have been having this dream lately about me being attacked by lions and i am in like a place that looks like the Coliseum but i have a gun to defend my self

oh sorry about that it starts off i am already in the coliseum i am the only person in the center area and all of a sudden lions start to come out of cages that are in the wall they are like miniature lions that are not as big as the full grown but they look like them Then i pick up a gun that is on the ground. They start to leap at me and when i shot them they shatter into fragments like glass. Even though i was fighting for my life i still felt calm I dont remember how many of them i killed but i know it was a lot of them. sorry if this not enough that's all i remember

You're in a colloseum, surrounded by lions, who are attacking you. The most obvious question is, have you watched any movies/TV/read books lately about gladiators, or the colloseum, or lions? Because if so, that would be it. If not, then... I'm sorry, I can't read anything in this. Dreams are basically the mind storing and rearranging thoughts and memories. While some dreams contain valuable insights into our subconscious, others are just simply a collection of random thoughts rolled into one nonsensical experience. Myself, I have crazy-ass dreams like you would not believe, as I've come to discover in the past few weeks as my recall's improved. Fish museums, owen wilson rolled up in a pirate flag, a levitating parade float full of dreadlocked schoolgirls, a bride with edward scissorhands claws, been chased by a hovering disco ball with spinning razor blades... It's a given that dreams are occaisionally not gonna mean anything. This, I think, MAY be one of those cases.

Here is my interpretation. I think the lions attacking you represent your courage, and the colliseum is an event where you need your courage. By you picking up the gun and shooting them, it is the cowards way out as your courage is shattering right before you. Perhaps the size of the lions represents how much courage you lack. While it was good that you stayed calm, next time you should stand up to them, and stare them down. They should stop in their tracks, without attacking. Common anxiety dream. You should be able to tell yourself to be brave, to face fears, before falling asleep and when this dream comes back, which it should, you will be ready.

I use to have problems with snakes until I started letting them bite me, then I rarely ever see them. When I encountered a lion that apeared to want to eat me on the other hand... hell no. It's one thing to get biten by snakes or shot by guns but, I don't feel like experimenting with being eaten by lions.

For me, lions in my dreams usually have a sexual meaning. So might a gun.
