Shattered Moon

It was a dream I had a while ago actually, does that demerit interpretation? I am not certain that the issue I believe the dream adresses has come to pass. I do not remember my dreams regularly(daily), only the ones I am very aware in. Not persay lucid in that I know it's a dream, just that it feels extremely real to me at the time. I know that can happen in dreams alot, but throughout my life, I can remember a number of particular dreams I have had that mean something to me. I digress, already. In the dream I am standing in the street infront of my house, staring up at the sky, the moon is almost at the top of the sky for the night, with it's hang a little to the east, the direction I am faced. The moon however is broken, still in place and seemingly whole, as though held together, I do not see it break, just that it is broken. Almost immediatly a large bird of sorts, what I say to myself as a pheonix is flying westward away from the moon. It is a short dream, and my first to have someone outside of my head interpret. I have interpreted it to the best I can using dream symbolism and such, but I might be missing something, for it doesn't make the greatest deal of sense to me, even after a year.

The sun and moon can be seen as male and female. The phoenix is known for it's healing ability. The bird flying away while the moon still is not well is not a good sign, it's like the bird gave up at healing the moon because it could not get the job done. One's house may be an indication of one's self. Taken literally, not too far from you, there's a wounded female that is unable to heal.

I suppose in those words it helps my own interpretations actually, thank you for your comments ;-P. I had been idealizing it a bit differently. I recall the events a little more clearly just writing it all down. Usually I do not perform many literary functions dealing with the subjects at hand. Thanks to you all and your posts I have gathered alot very quickly. There are alot of interesting things presented to me from this communities insights. Much appreciation. Thanks ;-}
