      Reoccuring Dream

      For well over 3 years now I have been having a reoccuring dream that I would like to get some meaning on. The dream is not always always exactly the same but it follows the same basics. I keep having dreams that I am giving birth, have just had a baby or a serious event - aftermath of a tornado, car wreck- involving me and the baby. My husband and his family is there in some of the dreams but not all of them are in all the dreams. I have these dreams a couple times a week then they will stop for a while then start up again every other night.

      The one I had last night was the with myself and a 3 month trying to recover in the aftermath of a tornado hitting our town. I was going to home of friends and family trying to find clothing and items for the baby. I don't remember much more about the dream than that.

      The baby is a new beginning in your life, and the tornado is a out of control senseless arguement. Both of these are not uncommon dreams but I haven't heard of them together before. Is it the same baby each time?
      It sounds like a tendency to start things but not finish them. That's my guess for now.

      Dear Lioness,

      Giving Birth or having a child in a dream, it is indicative of some form of Self Birth -- of beginning one's career or Life Work, or some major creative effort.

      In the case of your recurrent dreams, your career or life work is being staunched at almost its very starting line. Now, dreams are recurrent when the Dreamer fails to respond correctly, fails to make the correct choices, or somehow misses the point.

      Anyway, look at your Life and your Dreams and see if you can discern what your dangers and distractions are. Your Dreams are concerned for your Creative Projects or your Life's Work. So, look around and see if you can see what is getting in the way.
