My guess is that it is in response to your lucidity. There may be a tendency of the subconcious to guard its secrets and keep you in the dark, and that might by why the DCs may be prone to attack, to oppress you. |

In my Lucid dreams lately - that is, while I've been totally aware that I am dreaming - at the same time I've feared an attack from the characters in the dream. I have not been attacked yet in a lucid dream, but the characters of the dream sort of either lunged towards or just had a menacing aura around them, what could that mean? I've always been able to fend them off so far by either willing them to disappear or waking myself up. But why am I threatened in a dream in which I have attained full lucidity and control? |

Apathy is a lovely escape route.
