Thread: Dissapearing Soldiers

I had a dream last night that started out as basically what happened before I went to sleep but ended up with something wich I believe signifies something. I will quote my dream journal.

I believe this dream was inspired by an event that happened yesterday in which I decided to have a brief talk with an old friend on AIM. This friend's name is Sam and he was my very best friend for a year and a half and then we stopped being friends for no reason.

I am in the school cafeteria holding a tray with no food on it, although I am getting ready to eat. I stand up from the seat in which I usually sit in during lunch and look for a new place to sit. I find an area with a friend sitting on the same table and an open seat available. I sit down, and without talking, me and the friend have a conversation. Then Sam arrives. We talk, again without actually speaking. Then, somehow my state of mind goes to a video game called Age of Empires. I don't know how, but I am sure this is the same dream, although none of the context is the same. In the game, the screen starts with a bunch of soldiers standing on a field of grass, not fighting. The screen then scrolls up slowly as the amount of soldiers starts decreasing. The screen scrolls up faster and faster as the soldiers keep on minimizing until there are none left, and the screen is going very fast. The screen then stops scrolling and is transfixed on an almost dead, grassy area. There's a brown patch of grass on the bottom left of the screen. An arrow then appears from nowhere and clicks on that brown patch of grass. I then wake up from the dream.

I would like to know what the last part of the dream means, about the soldiers decreasing and the grass dying. Also, if anybody has time I would appreciate it if most of the dreams in my DJ could be interpritated (there are only 4 so far) although I understand if nobody will. Thank you in advance.
